Video of Herman Cain announcing his candidacy for the presidency.

No offense friend but the fact that no one has commented on the thread (immediately) indicates a lack of interest. Cain may be great, well rounded, experienced in business etc, but that does not make him presidential material.
The next leader MUST focus on the specific problems we are facing: security, energy and the debacle called ‘healthcare reform’.
I’m not interested in Cain. The one person that has detected the problems we are confronting, with laser beam accuracy, is the one I wish to support and until they inform the public they are not running, I will only support them.
Shutup...
It’s Saturday...Herman Cain is the best choice to debate Obama...I’ll take Palin or Cain no Romney...no Pawlenty...no Santorum
There are other threads about Cain’s announcement, including one in the Breaking News sidebar with nearly 200 comments, FRiend. Piling on Herman Cain makes me question your motives.
What kind of nonsense is this? It could be that there are soooo many Cain threads that folks can’t comment on every single one of them? And what do you mean about focusing on the specific problems we are facing? You act like Cain doesn’t do that? Amazing.
Indeed there are other Cain threads today, and there have been so many all week, and most have huge response — as you stated. And the crowd in Atlanta on a hot day was amazing: huge and incredibly intense.
Cain is my first choice but there are other good conservatives who may run. I will not trash them on threads about them. Some folks don’t seem to have that same policy.
“In God we trust is on our money for a reason, because the founders believed in God.”

Motive? My motive is to have an individual that:
1. Loves this nation
2. Recognizes the distinct problems that have surfaced in the past 2 years.
3. That is outside of the beltway but yet has political/executive experience.
4. Has a chance in hell of winning.
And while Cain can lay claim to a couple of these issues, HE DOES NOT have the political experience or knowledge to be president. Of course that’s my opinion but THAT’S the way I will vote.
There is only ONE person that has been fighting the battle for 2.5 years now. Cain just jumped in. USE your head.
Cain laid the smackdown on Clinton in the 90s he hasn’t been in the headlines but it doesn’t mean he has no qualifications...
I’ve just commented....put me down for 5:28 Central time...Your post is like late news...already posted and read all about Cains wonderful speech by 2:30 pm Central time...your posting came over 2.5 hours later...your old news...
gee you are just so mature. I’m so glad you are part of the electorate. /s
Yes, some do want a reader and not a leader — and some come on this forum acting like they’re outside the box rebels and end up spouting MSM talking points as if that’s original brilliance.
BTW: I learned a few things today about Cain. He’s gotten over 160 thousand volunteers over his internet marketing program and lots of donations that way too. He has put together a very good team and has a very sophisticated plan.
His Chief of Staff is the mastermind of the plan that turned Wisconsin in 2010. He is extremely popular in SC and Iowa and has pockets of support in NH as well. The man knows what he’s doing.
And this has what to do with my post?
Oh, please. I’ve been too busy commenting and reading the multitude of Cain articles to get to this one.
How about a poll, Jim? I don’t believe that nobody on FR is interested in Cain.
The idea that “only one person has been fighting this battle for 2.5 years” is just sophistry at best and kool aid induced psychosis at worst. I think we all know your flavor of kool aid now (I’m sure some did already).
But never fear, if your candidate gets in, we won’t be on here trashing her. We like her too. But for the record, Cain has been fighting for the things you believe in for decades. The fact that you don’t realize it doesn’t mean it wasn’t happening.
I’ve been watching Herman Cain’s speeches on youtube. The man is a true conservative and far better orator than Obama. I believe a Cain/Palin or Palin/Cain ticket would be unbeatable.
It has a lot more to do with the thread than your post did.
Time for Freepers to follow Reagan 11th comandment: “Thou shall not speak ill of a fellow Republican.”
I find it odd that you state in you post you have a candidate, but that they haven’t declared yet, but that you was sticking to them. That’s fine.
Then you go on to say that you meant no offense but posted on a thread about someone you clearly not interested in so what was the perpose of your post other than to offend? What positive outcome did you expect to get from your post? What did your post add to the conversation?
A Cain/Palin ticket would bring all the conservative guns to bear on the Muslim in the White House — and ensure a sweep of the 2012 board.
Outlaw Woman's comment re Cain's lack of governmental experience is ludicrous on its face — for her very comment echos what is wrong with Washington in the first place — career politicians of BOTH STRIPES.
An example is the magical transformation of Mitch McConnell as a bonefide ‘conservative’ player, when it was evident even to him that the Tea Party candidates were going to sweep the last House race. It was only then that the Minority Leader “saw the light” and came aboard.
Pathetic !!!
Finally, with both Ohio and Florida moving into the Red Zone, I will take all bets on the outcome of the 2012 election — a Republican Sweep !!!
The bad news is that it may be too late to put the cork back into the Western Civilization bottle. Obama and Company have done our Republic irreparable harm, IMO. /dk
