Heard this fantastic song parody satirizing government abuse of power for the first time on Dennis Miller's radio show the other day, even though (as I discovered) it's not new, but rather about three years old.
Written and performed by Tim Hawkins, apparently a conservative stand-up comic. He does a great job.
Could and should be very popular at Tea Party events.

Oddly enough, the government can’t get photo ID’s to a handful of those without them.

Tim Hawkins is a conservative Christian comic who was home-schooled. His shows are hilarious and clean. I’ve seen him twice, and have his DVDs. http://www.timhawkins.net

Thanks for the info. My guess is that Tim Hawkins is far from a household name and has difficulty with promotion because of MSM bias against conservatives.
Dennis Miller, originally a stand-up comic himself, gave him some air time on his show the the other day.

I’ve seen Mr. Hawkins’ work. Besides being a pretty good pardoy singer (oh yes...he’s got more than one), he’s a decent stand-up comedian. On a par with Brad Stine.

Miller still does stand-up. I saw him in Vegas a couple years ago. It was a good show.

Miller still does stand-up. Yes, I knew that. He promotes his future comedy shows on his radio gig.
