You’re sitting inside a heated and cooled office talking on the telephone and using a computer. You’re not digging ditches, picking fruit, mining coal, tarring a roof, baling hay or anything similar. This generation is unbelievably spoiled and entitled, IMO.
From personal experience doing a couple of those jobs and having worked in a call center, I wouldn’t wish the only option for employment as a call center job on my worst enemy.
You may have hit on the issue with call center work. The unbelievably spoiled and entitled are sitting there having to deal over the phone with the unbelievably spoiled and entitled.
