My 13 year old grandson told me what he learned last week in school. The first thanksgiving was really about how the Pilgrims and Indians got together and killed off another Indian tribe. That is what they were celebrating. I am not sure I convinced him of anything else. He says we older people were lied to in school about the founding of our country. He goes to school in Brighton Co.
