One could say that the biden visit provoked this type of attitude.

Restore the import tariffs. China will quickly have more pressing problems than how to stir up trouble with their neighbors.
Plus it would put Americans back to work.

The POSOTUS and his illegal regime will turn their backs on what their communist overlords do.
I would not be surprised if our military helped the Chicoms.

I expect a Japanese nuke in the very near future.

... that, and the overall weakness of the Obama administration.

One would guess (probably rightly) that all the parts are there and assembly would be less than thirty minutes, in best estimation, assembled and ready to begin the countdown to fly time. Yep, scary. biden probably slapped the chinese leaders on the back and said something stupid. Of course everything biden said would have been zer0 approved.

One could say that the biden visit provoked this type of attitude. Indeed. The Chinese met him and said to themselves "Holy Crap! The Americans are far more incompetent than we ever imagined. Full steam ahead!"

China sees no response to NK and Iran provocations and thinks what the heck - who will stop them?

Japan had a nuke program during WW2. It’s just that we beat them to the bomb first. I always wondered what became of their stuff. I always guessed that we took it. Nothing is to say that they haven’t made or acquired more over the past 60 years though.

That worked really well with Imperial Japan.

I know the Chinese have to keep feeding their army leaders some red meat to keep the boys occupied but .... why Japan and not Taiwan?

Getting the enriched uranium is the hardest part. The rest of it is machining and assembly and who is better at that than Japan? Israel did it on the qt no reason to think Japan has not already done so.
Wonder why Japan restarted all of their nuke plants?
To: Eric in the Ozarks
ssshhhh, they already have them . . .
