Yesterday I had what is seemingly becoming a perennial 1-day December flu (as it has been the third time in the last four years I've had it at this exact time). I was able to get one post off, and then spent the rest of the day bed-ridden because any movement whatsoever made things much worse.
I don't know why this happened. I did have a Christmas Holiday (Marxmas?) cookie the night before (below), but that couldn't be the problem. I mean a cookie can't make you violently ill...
Right?
Well, I'm feeling almost 100% today, so back to work I go!
If you have celiac disease then a wheat Christmas cookie could put you in bed for more than a day. I have a niece who has been violently sickened for a week by supposed gluten-free food she has eaten at restaurants. She has to do a lot of traveling for her job, and after experiencing this a number of times, she now packs all her food when she is on the road.
Looks like Rancid Frosting
Projectile Vomiting right?
YES they CAN!
Cupcakes too
Are you living in Colorado?
MSG and high fructose corn syrup does it for me, especially MSG. I have had bread at a restaurant and just shutdown and had a headache for the rest of the dinner. I now just have meat and potatoes and vegi’s.
