The IRS is facing numerous lawsuits thanks to its illegal decision to provide subsidies to insurance companies in states which did NOT create an ObamaCare exchange. The Services unilateral decision to confiscate and distribute $700 billion in subsidies and tax credits DIRECTLY violates the language of the Affordable Care Act; language which is quite specific in stating that subsidies and the penalties they trigger are only authorized to be dealt out through STATE established exchanges.
In August of 2013, District Judge Ronald White ruled that a suit filed against the IRS for this illegal ObamaCare decision may go forward. The federal govt had asked that the suit...

Nice article. The Coach is usually “spot on”. My question would be, Why does it take the States so long to act? S. Carolina could have done this is a few days. They are stil “working it through the system”.
Sorry I posted before finishing. Like Obama’s Executive orders, can’t the R’s in SC just push this through and the Gov. can sign it into law. The Gov. would control anything in the state insurance industry so she could change the insurance regs with a stroke of the pen.
Now that's the way to fight back.
They need to tie this POS law up in litigation knots as far as the eye can see. Grind it into the pavement.
A suit challenging the illegal IRS tax credits for those who purchase policies through federal exchanges was rejected just two days ago, on Wednesday, by U.S. District Judge Paul Friedman

I’m pondering the 1945 concept...and I like it.
I feel the states are, by and large, exercising restraint when dealing with “states rights” issues to prevent claims of secession. With something as egregious as Obamacare, I’m starting to wonder what’s taking them so long to flex their muscles.
At this point, the states truly are the last bastion of hope we have against the federal leviathan.
Plunder. PLUNDER, plunder, plunder, plunder, plunder.
The ACA (Obaminablecare) is whatever they say it is.
I am disappointed that no one in GOP who gets air time, TV or radio, has called for a bill that allows states to completely opt out including all mandates and taxes.
After all there have been partial repeal bills passed by the GOP house already like on contraceptives.
By insisting that the repeals apply to all states, including the lib states that want it like NY,CA, MD... they ensure certain and repeated failure, especially now that medicaid has been expanded.
They don’t give GOP governors the least bit of cover for turning down medicaid expansion and $$$.
If the government breaks its’ own laws why can the people that it claims to represent not do the same?
Wow.
I think there’s standing for men who now have maternity coverage thanks to zerocare to sue for being forced to buy something they can’t use? And post-menopausal women?
