I know in my troop $.75 per box goes to a ruling clique of 14 yr olds, another portion goes to the Council that runs our camps and member programs, and about $2.50 goes to the cookie bakery

It seems to me that it’s almost a witch hunt with the Girl Scouts based on very shaky allegations that seem to only exist in internet blogs. There is a ton of misinformation out there about the Girl Scouts floating around the internet. Don’t take it all at face value. I have looked through the various anti-GSA sites and found that they all link each other and re-circulate the same stories. And the merry-go-round of recirculating stories tends to pop up every February when the cookies go on sale. Hummm...
