ROTFLMSO....big whoop, I know quite a LOT of French ( used to be fluent, but out of disuse, have lost a lot of it )and what I wrote to you was in HUNGARIAN.

I probably know more Japanese than you do; Afrikaans too.

I knew that you didn't speak any Russian when you ignored the Russian phrase I posted and never believed, for a minute that you know any Swahili. LOL

I'll end with a phrase you "might" be able to understand; perhaps, maybe, hopefully.

JOYEUX NOEL.

Read Churchill’s writing about the battles in the Nile and in Afghanistan. Churchill was a warrior.

Semantics is a bitch, depending on which side you’re on. LOL

The only question is, will THIS finally be Trump’s undoing.
Yeah, I know.

The Medieval period fascinates me, the Victorian period less, but I am hooked on the Templars and find everything about them fascinating. The Templar chapel at Metz is intriguing and there is another Templar building in Sarlat, both in France.

You’re lucky.I never had Latin, although I’ve often wished I did. I suppose I’ve absorbed a great deal of it however, through French.

I suppose our Revolutionary period tops the list. There are so many incredible things that happened against all odds. It most certainly had to be God’s blessing that allowed us to become a country. World War I is the setting of one of my books which is an historical novel, while my book that takes place in World War II is non-fiction although I’m writing it in novel form without all the footnotes that drive me nuts when I try to read non-fiction in America. The French have that form of writing which makes historical fiction much easier reading.

I shall know whom to ask when I have a question about the Gallic Wars! :>)

WEll I think they would get along fine. But Putey won’t take home all the marbles by a long shot.

Love the Medieval and perhaps we can chat about it, in FRmail. I'm very interested in the Knights Templars too. :-)

I had 4 years of Latin and 3 of French, which allowed me to be able to understand Italian pretty well.

The Gallic and Punic Wars are right up my alley, as is WW I. If I can be of any assistance, I'd be happy to help/just talk about it with you.
