What Marijuana Legalization brings to your town?
Power Through Discipline ^

Posted on 01/08/2016 8:07:15 PM PST by Rich from PTD

Through the use of images… I’ll show you what it brings. But before I do that (just to be fair), I will say that the drug has its medicinal benefits, there’s no doubt about that, but medicinal patients are hardly the bulk of the enthusiasts or the consumers. They might represent 10% or less of that base. The other 90% represents the following:

Filthy dirty homeless drug addicts hanging out on your street corners. Pan handling, and when asked to leave… they respond, hey man I thought this place was cool man? I thought I could just sit here and play “music” all day long, annoy the crap out of normal people, not shower for a few months, or even bother to wipe my ass. Who cares if I turn people away from local businesses and shops? It’s a free country, why can’t I just sit here… lay in my own piss… and beg for money on the street? What’s it to you bro? It’s just weed bro! It’ll improve the economy and shit bro! *Read the rest of the story with images...

Whether weed is legal or not, the consumption rate is not likely to change.

It's here, embedded in the culture and that's not likely to change either.

There are far superior medicines available for any problem someone might use “medicinal marijuana” for.

Heroin brings medicinal benefits, too. If your leg is sore, nothing feels better than a shot of heroin. If you’re depressed, nothing feels better. If you had a fight with your girlfriend, nothing better. If you lose your job, nothing better.

As Karl Marx once said, medical benefits for all!!

As long as there have been streets there have been dirty, annoying panhandlers. Beggars are as old as civilization.

Long before marijuana came to your town, drunken teens & adults were weaving down your roads killing themselves & others; Drunken husbands were beating their wives & kids, drunken fights resulted in death & serious injury, & drunks were loosing their jobs, homes, & families to booze.

The reason our towns/cities are are a social mess is the Liberal policies that have neutered justice, refused to deal with mentally ill people, destroyed good jobs that enable people to climb out of poverty, & created a welfare system that destroys people’s motivations to better themselves.

The decline of this country has little to do with marijuana & everything to do with our corrupt political system & the 49% percent of voters who routinely enable the insanity.

You think our 535 Congress members are having pot parties as they turn this country towards tyranny? On the contrary, they are all down in the bars of Washington, DC getting sh*tfaced.

Drug warriors are cut from the same cloth as the fascist Liberals who believe the government has the right to dictate every aspect of our private lives. In the case of illegal drugs, they conveniently overlook the deadliest, most destructive drug of all - alcohol, most probably because they enjoy being inebriated (high).

Stoned drivers scare me most.

As Mariner said:

"Whether weed is legal or not, the consumption rate is not likely to change.

"It's here, embedded in the culture and that's not likely to change either."

Not to mention that any increase in consumption will be people who used to not smoke because it was illegal, and who will therefore continue to not perform the still-illegal act of driving stoned.

The problem here is heroin, not pot. We're right on I-75, which is a major thoroughfare for drug trafficking. Frequent arrests, frequent cases brought to hospital. Lots of items in the local paper about the heroin "epidemic."

“There are far superior medicines available for any problem someone might use “medicinal marijuana” for.”

With all kinds of “superior” side effects. Addiction & death being 2 frequent ones.
