The undead appearance of this animal has many scratching their heads.
A viral photo of a moose has many speculating as to what is ailing the animal in Alaska.
The photos were apparently taken in Anchorage last summer and show an animal with an almost zombie-like appearance. The moose is missing large patches of hair, exposing black and bright red patches of skin.
"That moose had been attacked by a bear by a neighbors house," Patricia Grenier told the Alaska Dispatch News. "(The moose) was gone and everybody thought it had died, but then it was back and it was in my neighbor's yard." Read the rest of the zombie moose story here.

The hide on a moose is like one of those really thick brown mud rugs you buy to put in front of your front door. Many years ago in Alaska i shot one while hunting, if i ever had to do it again i will bring along a portable sawzall. You can barely cutbit with even a serrated knife.

That must’ve been what burned the moose... the hot hands of the Oslo dentist. Mystery solved.

Poor thing, probably in pain.
The red spots indicate recent wounds.
