Like everyone who cares about the survival of America instead of the survival of the Republican Party and the jobs of a few hundred leeches in and around Washington, I carefully weigh each new bit of news regarding the candidates.
I am a Donald Trump supporter so I am concerned with what happens on the Republican side of the arena. The Democrat side has its own problems as they are running headlong toward nominating either a Communist or a Felon with an indictment hanging over her head.
The most important news this past week was the revelation that Ted Cruz has had at least five and may even eight mistresses during the recent past. After the initial explosion over this story, those who have supported Cruz have been largely silent and content to change the subject. Mark Levin-who very often tweets six times a day-was silent these past few days.
Others who regularly tweet both famous and ordinary people have either withdrawn from the fight or turned on Cruz.
The Washington Times reporter who publicly confirmed at least two of the affairs has been fired but still stands by his story.
It is fair to say a few things about what is being called the CUBAN MISTRESS CRISIS...

It's the hypocrisy that is destroying Cruz. I KNOW what Trump did, I know all about it but it doesn’t pertain to the race. Cruz has done this recently while holding elective office.

Well ... they are trying to sell magazines. The slow drip approach allows them to milk it for a month.
Alternately, you could suspend the quest to find The Candidate Without Sin, and start focusing on what each candidate is likely to do once in office, and vote for the one who is likely to have more positive effects, or at least do less damage.
And that is why I have been a Cruz supporter. I believe I know the positions he will govern by more than the other candidates.

But for the record, you are stating that Trump has been a good boy since 2000? So, if that proves not to be the case and he has cheated on just wives #1, #2, and #3, then that is an issue for you, or not so much?
In my many years of being a "lurker" to FR, I always cheered the "viking kitties" when they zotted the DU/leftist liberal posters that showed up to crap on Republicans.

You can’t sue a public figure or celebrity for libel or slander unless you can prove malice. It would be a waste of time.
By using the words, “rumored” “allegedly” “allegations” the NE insulated itself from liability in a lawsuit. [eg, Well, gee we didn’t say it was true, just that we heard all these rumors]
NE puts out stories all the time without proof and have the most practiced lawyers for this type of journalistic attack because they do this a lot.

I support Trump because he is putting America first. I don't care about his personal life.

I never said no such thing. I've always known what Trump did and so do many of his other supporters. I said that Trump did his dirt in the 80s and 90s and it has been covered extensively (including in the NE) and he didn't pretend to be an altar boy like Cruz. It's the hypocrisy of Cruz that is making the allegations against him seem much more damning. It's too bad you don't understand this point.

All of what Trump did was in the past, as a relatively private citizen, when he didn't hold elective office. Cruz on the other had is a sitting Senator, he has been the one touting religious and conservative values, and now he's looking like Spitzer.

If Trump had performed "the act" in recent months while in office and claimed to be the 2nd coming of Christ, I wouldn't vote for him for dogcatcher.
