In my experience, nearly every criminal also watched cartoons as a child, and smoked tobacco as a teen. Go figure.

Pot makes people dopey, forgetfull and stupid. I cant imagine unfettered public use. Ruling class elites have the perfect combo money maker and sheeple control device.
I have smoked the stuff my entire life. It should have been decriminalized and for small home grown plants.
Do you drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, or drink coffee? If so, there is a bit of hypocracy.
That being said, the only thing pot cures is nausea, hyperactivity, and work ethic.

Thanks for all of the replies. I thought that it was probably quite a bit. My wife collects vintage clothes and military uniforms. Many years ago she bought a pair of beautiful turn of the century lady's lace up boots from an antique store. They were stuffed with tissue paper to keep the shape from getting distorted. When we got home we started pulling out the tissue paper they were stuffed with so she could see if they would fit her. We found that in the bottom of one of the boots there was a bundle. It took up the entire bottom of the boot; it was the size of a normal woman's foot and ankle and packed in tightly enough that we had to completely unlace the boot to get it out.
The outer layer of the bundle was made from plastic sheeting and the inner layer was foil and inside of it was an herbal like substance. I was surprised that as tightly as it was packed, that the whole thing didn't weigh very much. We were dumbfounded at first... why would someone store a big bundle of herbs in a beautiful antique boot? Then the light bulb lit up... this was someones stash of drugs. I assumed it was enough that if someone got caught with it, they would get in serious trouble. We weren't sure how to get rid of it.
Another guy on the fire department had just been caught selling marijuana and had been fired and put behind bars. We didn't want to get our friends who ran the antique store in trouble; we were sure neither they nor the vendor that they were selling the boots for had nothing to do with it. They are all just older folks who buy things at garage and estate sales and resell them. I wasn't sure how the police around here would handle the situation. I worked with them frequently and some of them were difficult to get along with. It didn't seem like a good time to possibly get stuck in the middle of some type of weird scandal. It was a hot potato we decided we didn't have any real inclination to deal with, so we just tossed the bundle in a garbage can.
