Well, what’s the problem. I read an earlier thread about this and it seemed like CNN took it as automatic felons are blacks and any call to stop felons from voting is racist.
It’s the same thing they do with Voter ID laws isn’t it? CNN is just staying in character.
There were no white or Hispanic felons?
I did not know that.

Reagan always made the (very good) point about sociologists: if they want to elevate people out of poverty, why are they studying people in poverty? They should be studying the people who made it out of poverty.
Same principle applies. Quit studying black felons. Start studying people who did not become felons.

Associating Black people with felons is bad when doing so advances the Conservative Agenda.

I did not intend to imply that the statistics were what they are because somebody is picking on blacks.
I recall a story being told by Jesse Jackson about walking at night in DC. It went something like this, “These two young men were behind me. I was terrified. Imagine my relief when I discovered they were white boys.” Nobody is more frightened of confronting a black man in the dark than another black man.
The reputation blacks have for violence is well earned and, probably, the biggest obstacle that blacks must overcome in society if they want to live well.
