Social permission for the fetishizing of the female form AND ability to dress as a woman / be treated as a woman while retaining sexual attraction to women. The cross-dresser says he’s trans but keeps male plumbing (fewer than 1/4 have the organs removed), but he’s otherwise normal because he retains sexual attraction to women; LBGT tolerates it because he now counts as a lesbian. That’s why there is such an uproar on “transgenders”, whether he’s a mentally ill man biologically intact sexually attracted to women or a pervert claiming to be such, you’re letting men who are attracted to women in spaces segregated for the privacy and safety of women.

Continued: the transgenderism is getting pushed by liberals who want to prove there is no difference between men and women, as if a man putting on a dress and says he’s a woman proves there’s no difference, or that a guy dosing up on hormones and has major surgery proves it is a negligable difference.

The mental illness of transgenderism is endorsed because it suits the political objectives:
* make men and women interchangeable
* undermine sex segregation and sex roles
* attack traditional family values
* increase apparent numbers of “homosexuals” and use them to attack political conservatives and the religiously conservative
* it suits the “morality / reality is based on how you feel” attitude of the left

I once briefly knew a couple into body modification. FWIW, he was a Coast Guard NCO. They were 20 years younger than my husband and I. Yes, there was an element of trying to shock us, but we were curious, asked respectful, probing questions and they opened up, a little.

1) It is tribal and about belonging.
2) In the Coastie world, drugs are not allowed and alcohol is limited to time off. The NCO told us that *his guys* used piercings as an endorphin release. Evidently the pain is some sort of high when combined with the tribalism.
3) Since it is a trendy subculture, there is room for entrepreneurship. Both these people did tattoos and piercings (including those large excisions that later on receive plugs). The wife was an esthetician and incorporated all sorts of facials and extreme cosmetic procedures (needling, scraping, abrasion) along with cupping, acupuncture, you-name-it. Her clientele was heavily weighted to gays.

They had shelves of coffee-table books on the topic. There are conventions. Some of the body-mods are really extreme, more like serious surgeries. Some are just grotesque, like growing toenails so long the person needs to wear high open-toe platform shoes in order to walk. All this was 20 years ago, so I can barely imagine what that world is like now. It seems (and probably is) very uncomfortable. I think there is some sort psychiatric component.

Yes, it sounds like "Mom" has screwed up this little boy for the rest of his life. From the linked article, there's a comment about the child "praying for (his original male identity) to die and be taken to heaven." Sounds to me like gender confusion pushed by the parent resulted in a split personality. Truly, this is child abuse and should be punished as such.

All my kids know at least 1-2 kids in their class who claim to be bisexual. It is natural with the disgusting filthy leftist creep going on that this would become more prevalent too.

Good point, but the trend actually approx. 100 years ago,and I'll explain why.

What the trannies do is derange their hormonal profile and impair their primary and secondary sexual characteristics in order to have the kind of recreational sex they want. This is exactly what contracepting women do (hormones, devices, surgery): altering themselves and impairing their function for the sake of recreational sex.

It is absolutely demonic. I don’t care how much they want to “belong.” And I can’t believe the Coast Guard wouldn’t have standards against this.

By the way, the way that dress and grooming standards have declined in the retail workplace is appalling. I was at one of the large grocery store chains in my city several years ago, and the dairy employee sported all sorts of spikes piercing various parts of his face. It was truly disgusting and alarming. I cannot believe what is allowed.

I was going to complain to corporate, but with a busy life that got pushed way down on my to-do list.

I’ve seen pictures, but the most extreme in my rural area has been the thick earlobe plugs.

At a wedding a few weeks ago, I saw this young woman with a dangle coming off an eyebrow piercing. Actually sort of exotically charming, but I think it would be distracting and annoying.

I don’t think it can be changed back. The managers probably have their own modifications and tats. As generations change, likely the sons and daughters of the elite who now have BOD positions are similar. The people I mentioned earlier would be in their fifties today and the enlisted under the NCO would all be in their 40s.

I think I read that military can now have visible tattoos without having to cover them with long sleeves.

And who would have thought people would pay loads of money to have surgery and eye color changes so they could look like cartoons, let alone pay a lot of striped rainbow hair? It simply isn’t our world or our rules any longer.
