Why are there all of a sudden so MANY random “news” sites being linked to on FR? I mean, I get that we’re frustrated with the lies and propaganda from much of the established media, but it’s getting to the point where someone’s going to post a story link from OMGhollowrumorclickbait dot com or something similar.

It would be nice to know who runs all these random sites that have become ubiquitous lately.

(Not an attack at you, amorphous, I just needed to vent because it’s getting harder to know where to turn for real news.)

Trunews has been around for a decade or longer, both on radio and shortwave. I get it it's the first time you've heard of it. Perhaps you've only recently discovered another world of news out there besides the MSM? I've been an occasional listener of Trunews for at least 5 years or better.

It would be nice to know who runs all these random sites that have become ubiquitous lately.

Then why don't you go research them for yourself, and another suggestion I have for you: If you don't recognize the source, don't click on the thread.

There seem to be quite a few here who have much more trust in the MSM than in independent or alternative media outlets. The former deceives us intentionally, the latter sometimes is over eager to release breaking news. Are we allowing ourselves to become part of the problem by demanding MSM confirmation for every piece of breaking news?
