There is nothing wrong with Barron Trump. I watched him suffer through that late night Trump declaration of POTUS victory, and he reacted like any ten year old boy and girl would, when they are wiped out, and still awake long after their normal bedtime hours have passed. I was actually grinning as he struggled to stay awake & alert. I have seen this on our kids & grandkids, a million tines, over!!!
An idiot like Rosie O’Donnell would not have a clue that Barron is very tall for his age and has the long arms and legs of a budding basketball player, which makes the kid look much older then his actually is.
But....If he was afflicted with Autism....so what!!! He has got a family that loves and understands him. No...it does not take a village...it takes a loving, understanding family to make a comfortable environment for all their offspring!!! Screw, Rosie, screw Hollywood, screw the media....they know nothing about kids, child rearing or the multiple child rearing, problems encounted along the way!!! I do...I have three of our own kids and eight grandkids....and, thy are all great people!!! End of story.

I have never met Trump, probably never will, but I have a sense that he would be very excepting of Barron, no matter what mental condition he did or did not have. Read about Donald’s older brother Freddy Jr., an alcoholic who as supposed to be the Special Son his father always dreamed of.

I have thought Barron possibly autistic for a long time as has my daughter a Master level Special Ed professional. So what? Let him be. Let him grow and flourish. He is adorable and 10 years old. We all have our strengths and weaknesses

The DSM and the diagnostic criteria they use is also fraudulent. I mean, why did they fail to socialize with their peers if they aren't really their peers? Why are victims of bullying social retards now? How does making hand movements, being intelligent and being neat and organized make some one a dumb retard with Asperger's? ITS RIDICULOUS!! The reason they're having trouble is because they're being pushed around and because their under attack yet its somehow their fault!
There is no such thing as Asperger's its a myth to destroy innocent victims and punish them for why the government wont do its job and protect them from being beat up in schools. Its all the fault of the schools and the parents. Not the victim. Leave them alone, let them run their business.

I also believe that a vast majority of us will appear ‘afflicted’ in some manner if put in certain situations and under certain types of pressures. I for one do not believe that ‘sanity’ is a constant state without frequent monitoring of one’s actions and without rationality being frequently renewed or validated.

For the most part, a good article, but the author is wrong to dismiss Psychiatry with such a broad brush. Psychiatry can be abused and misused by the left and others, but that`s what the left does with everything they get their hand on. The knee jerk extremism of the left should not be countered with simplistic kee jerk arguments such as the assertion that Psychiatry is nothing more than a creation of the left. Such arguments are themselves, a form of extremism.

Even a young child, dragged out of his bed (probably) at 3:30 am, put into a suit with a tie, and brought before a lot of people to stand still while his Dad is talking. Considering the time, very, very early in the morning, I thought he did great.
There is a huge difference between misdiagnoses / mal-diagnoses and “no such thing”.
Also, Asperger’s and autism are not the same thing as being mentally retarded (or, as you put it, a “dumb retard”) and if you were as knowledgeable on the subject as you claim to be you would know this.

There are different types of autism; and, different levels of how it affects interaction with the world around them, and other people.
When my eldest daughter told me that she thought her younger sister had Apsberger Syndrome (sp?), I had no idea what that was. I looked it up, and, yes, she fit a lot of the symptoms. Of course, I realized that I fit a lot of the symptoms as well. It helped a bit, to know that there were actually other people as weird as I am. But, I believe the Psychiatric Community has since cancelled this "syndrome", so I don't know what I think anymore; but, it was listed as being under a "autism" spectrum.
Not every autistic child is beating his head against a wall. Some just have trouble relating to other people outside of their family group, who are used to them.
