Dropping one’s drawers for the Dems clearly doesn’t pay like it used to. Awwwww.....
Must be from all the fact checkers they never hired.
This cartoon is too true, I hope. (See Michelle, Americans still have plenty of hope.) Just put up a screen in the press room and have Trump make a daily announcement, run a crawl of Tweets. Then sign off.
Buh-bye.
Well as I have said a couple of times here, I was a loyal
subscriber to the Wall Street Journal. When I taught courses in introductory finance, I strongly encouraged students to
subscribe to the Journal at the student rate which was quite good.
Then a few years ago Thomas Frank wrote an article in the Journal praising Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn;at point I was done with the Journal and have not read it since that time (except an excerpt published on FR).
Vlad you evil genius!
Pray America woke
Little Pinch is deeply saddened. He will have to move from his penthouse and mingle with the little people. Boo-frickin’ hoo.
in all seriousness....Trump...in eight years...should buy the skyscraper, and what remains of the paper, and turn this into his post-presidency project.
Imagine: a New York Times, which actually loves America, its traditions, capitalism, and its people including their faith.
Or he could just buy what remains of the Times assets and merge that into Breitbart.
Either a total transormation of the Times, or flush it down the toilet. Either way, Bannon should be the editor in chief or something.
Both are good.
Trump knows his media, and he knows his real estate. This is a very doable deal!
My inside source works at the Journal so I have a sentimental attachment to the paper. That said it has gone a bit off the rails lately. Also, the Monday-Thursday editions have shrunk from four sections to two and the Friday edition from four to three. The arts and culture reporting that used to be a separate section are now just a few pages in section A. Morale at the Journal is absolutely terrible.
Or house Syrian refugees and Mexicans.
It is so sad. For many years I considered the WSJ to be the finest paper in the USA and would read it cover-to-cover
every day.
I almost agree, except he should just move it to Mexico.
In all seriousness, print is an obsolete medium that is doomed no matter what ideology or interest niche it serves.
In eight years there will be even fewer people who want content delivered on paper.
Can’t wait until the NYT is forced to rent ALL of their floors!
Did they sell it?.
“The Wall Street Journal is now in the process of laying off large numbers of people ...”
I noticed in the past few weeks that the content volume of the weekday WSJ has been drastically reduced; it has gone from four sections to two on most days.
true
it would have to be a different business model, adapted to the reality of new media which is not all that new anymore....
I’m willing to wager a few bucks that a Soros organization will be one of the new tenants, if anyone wants to take me up on it.
Then, he will not have to import Mexicans for minimum wages. He can hire Tijuana locals for a few pesos per day and no Obama Care costs.
Trump doesn’t need the old left wing media filled with Never Trump mediots.
He can use the internet to communicate with his Deplorables.
Let the loser liberals watch ABCNNBCBS/FAUX for their daily intake of fake news.
