The Try Guys shoot Guns for the First Time

If you're not familiar with who these "Try Guys" are, they are four hilarious men who will throw themselves into any scenario, just to try it out. You can’t say they’re not open minded, however, when it came to the topic of guns. Well this is what their opinions on guns were before getting a taste of blasting some hot lead downrange, by the way they are our "millennial generation".

• Guy 1: I don't like guns. at all.
• Guy 2: I don't have a negative opinion about guns, I do have negative opinions about people.
• Guy 3: I've been invited to a gun range before with friends, and I said no, and I just sat in the car outside of the gun range while they shot guns.
• "I guestion why as a society we consider guns masculine."

Here's the after effects of good fun with firearms:

• "It gives you this real adrenaline that took me hours to come down from."
• "Think my body went on a high, and I just completely turned into this like, very primitive, basic creature."
• [BOOM] "OH MOTHER OF GOD." This shit became like, an adult toy.
• "[BOOM] OOOHOHOH. I feel that power!" "It's like I'm turning into an animal!"
• "I get it. I-I now get it. I didn't get it, and now I get it. Guns are really [bleep]ing fun."
• "The experience didn't turn us into men, it turned us into boys."

Seeing the Try Guys reaction when shooting these awesome firearms, you can definitely tell it was like they were at Toy R us. Seeing the enjoyment in their body language don’t lie, just like when we first shot our pellet guns with our Dad back in the day. See the funny video here.

I don’t understand how someone can go there entire life without discharging a firearm. My parents taught me and all my siblings when we were big enough to hold it up. By age 10 I fired more rounds than most soldiers and by 14 I had 6 of my own guns

Being a young lad from an East Coast suburb I had never even seen a firearm,let alone fired one,before I got to BCT in the late 60’s.To my surprise I loved rifle range from the first moment we got there.Didn't do too badly for a city boy,either...just 2 points below “expert” qualifying with the M-14.

I have a pump shotgun, a 30-06, a .22, an SKS and a .380.
Aproximate number of rounds I’ve put through these guns:
40 rounds through the .22.
2 rounds through the 30-06.
16 through the shotgun
30 through the .380 (I had to because I used it to get my CC)
20 through the SKS.

I have the guns, but shooting them is really boring. Well, sort of. Shooting at animals IS really fun, but as you can see, I don’t do it much.

I think guns are important, but I see them as simple tools and not really a form of entertainment. I think of shooting on a range as something I do to get proficient in their use. Just doing it for fun is, to me, like pounding nails into 2x4’s for fun. But then, I know there are things I do for fun that other people don’t see as fun at all.

The only reason for this diatribe above is to say that I kinda bristle when they compared shooting guns to being a boy rather than a man.

My daughter, when she was in the Marine Corp PLC program used to take other candidates, that had never even held a firearm, to the gun range. Amazing.

True. But guns with proper training, instruction and teaching of the responsibility of gun ownership do turn boys into men. And yes, guns are fun and turn men into boys.
