Welcome! We want to thank you all for your incredible outpouring of support for this march. We are working to schedule a March for Science on DC and across the United States. We have not settled on a date yet but will do so as quickly as possible and announce it here.
Although this will start with a march, we hope to use this as a starting point to take a stand for science in politics. Slashing funding and restricting scientists from communicating their findings (from tax-funded research!) with the public is absurd and cannot be allowed to stand as policy. This is a non-partisan issue that reaches far beyond people in the STEM fields and should concern anyone who values empirical research and science.
There are certain things that we accept as facts with no alternatives. The Earth is becoming warmer due to human action. The diversity of life arose by evolution. Politicians who devalue expertise risk making decisions that do not reflect reality and must be held accountable. An American government that ignores science to pursue ideological agendas endangers the world.

It’s a global warming march disguised as a “science” march. Liberals always have to disguise their message to make it popular.
The local weather broadcasters in my town now use multiple models for forecasting, giving us alternatives for weather. And they’re only predicting weather for the next one to five days. Do liberals ever just shut up and see what’s happening under their noses?

No. they are taking a stand for politics in science. I suppose they think that the geek shall inherit the earth.

Tee hee huckle chuckle. They’re going to find that “climate change” is not a concern for most people. Can’t help but think there will no longer be a market for their services. I almost feel sorry for them because their gravy train is being pushed over a cliff. I hear there is a high demand for skilled trades apprentices. I would avoid the boilermakers though. They do seriously hard work.
Oh wouldn’t it be fun if it snowed on them.

That is the antithesis of the scientific method.
These losers need to go to China and clean up their mess.
Follow the money: if these scientists can continue to convince the holders of the government purse strings that gradual “climate change” is an existential crisis rather than a permanent, ordinary part of nature, they can bully the government into sending them LOTS of money.
Real scientists wouldnt waste their time
