Posters in Rome were not an insult to the pope, but were providentially arranged for his instruction. Pray that Francis will revisit this matter and learn by it. And let him "dig, dig," that he might discover his own "rigidity" against tradition
Pope Francis seems to have taken offense over an anonymous poster campaign which called into question his mercy. On February 4, Romans woke up to more than 200 posters of a stern-faced pope plastered all over the city, with a caption that asks, But where is your mercy?
The unidentified posters accused Francis of having ignored cardinals and decapitated the Order of Malta references to a bitter dispute between the order and the Vatican that benched a conservative cardinal.
Maybe Frankie doesn't want instruction. He chafes at the bit.
This Pope sucks.
Apparantly a century or more ago when you got a bad Pope it wasnt uncommon for these posters to appear all over Rome. It hasn’t happened in that long because I guess there hasn’t been a Pope as polarizing as Francis in all that time. He’s not just in disagreement with a significant portion of the church laity and clergy, he’s openly and aggressively hostile to them. What should he expect?
This pope is doing to the catholic church what liberals are trying to do to America. Destroying it.
Why haven’t they removed him, or has the cancer of liberalism metasticized to the whole church?
Those photos look like they were taken from a sitting member of the Soviet Union central committee politburo.
He has that atheistic scowl. A man who worships Satan is running the Catholic church.
The liberals in the church have seized power, after many years of growing in size and willingness to “do whatever it takes” to seize that power. I still suspect that they somehow forced Pope Benedict XVI to retire. Pope Francis is their guy.
Meanwhile the conservative members of the church leadership are probably more genteel and unwilling to engage in a street fight for their faith.
Looks like Hellary after losing a second time.
Lighten up, Francis
The last Pope? The False Profit? Interesting times for sure.
That seems to be the case everywhere. Sadly.
