Ever since the stories about Michael Flynn’s conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak heated up, the left has been in a tizzy. Just as they have a hundred times before, they’re thinking “this time we’ve got him.” As per usual, they probably don’t. However, they want to make it appear as though they do, and they want to maintain that perception as long as possible. It’s all part of knee-capping the new administration and de-legitimizing the President.

So, the press has been burying the lead like a pirate with a chest full of gold.

Lots of reporters need to go to jail. A special prosecutor in the mold of the rabid Fitzgerald, who conducted the Scooter Libby witch hunt. It's not hard, it just requires a hard ass. Haul in the first reporter. Have the FBI question them: "who did you get the story from". If they refuse to answer, they got to jail indefinitely. If they answer you now go interview that person. "We have someone saying you gave them this information. Did you?" If they lie, put them on trial for lying to the FBI, convict them and send them to jail, based on the reporters testimony.

If they say yes convict them of leaking classified information.

Every single reporter who has written a story sighting one or more "anonymous senior intelligence agency source" should be put through this ringer. ALL OF THEM. One reporter was stupid enough to say it had been confirmed by NINE PEOPLE. Start with her. "Which Nine People". Either we get names, dates and details, or YOU GO TO JAIL FOR CONTEMPT.

While all this is going on the US Senate will have to say, over and over, "It would be inappropriate for us to comment while there is an ongoing investigation going on."

Meanwhile, tumbleweeds blow idly by and crickets can be heard chirping in the distance as the MSM continues to look the other way over the fact the Clinton campaign had a “private, off the record get together” with the Chinese Ambassador last year:

Guys - Chinese Ambassador Cui invited me over to the residence Tuesday for a coffee and to make a request. He wants to have an informal, private, off the record get together with a few of us to discuss the next year and the current state of US-China affairs. He asked me to host a social meal at my house in the next month. He was fairly insistent and indicated that he wanted to pass along some perspectives. How is it that all these reporters can write a story about some transcript of dubious origin, but never actually print the transcript?

If this starts to lead to Obama, the fake-news MSM will drop it in a heartbeat. It will be gone from public awareness as thoroughly as videos of 9-11 are.

If President Trump undertakes investigations that bring out a connection to Obama, he will be vilified for doing so, and then the subject will be dropped into the memory hole.
