Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts took to Twitter on Saturday to vilify the National Rifle Association and gun laws in Virginia as the reason behind the violent protests taking place in Charlottesville. Watt began retweeting various tweets with the same phrase: “The radicalization of America has been encouraged by the @NRA and open carry laws, which enable armed intimidation. #Charlottesville.” snip
The Moms Demand Action account then sent out a series of tweets condemning members of the armed militia, saying they were there to intimidate protestors. The gun control group then went on to say open carry laws in Virginia played a major role in Saturday’s violent protests. Under Virginia law, open carry is allowed with or without a Concealed Handgun Permit, although there are some stipulations. Most federal buildings, airports, K-12 schools, universities and religious institutions prohibit carrying a firearm. The cities of Alexandria; Chesapeake; Fairfax; Falls Church; Newport News; Norfolk; Richmond; and Virginia Beach and the counties of Arlington; Fairfax; Henrico; Loudoun; and Prince William all prohibit carrying a firearm. Although Shannon Watts and Moms Demand Action want to say gun laws are to blame for what’s taking place in Charlottesville, the numbers don’t add up. Firearm deaths weren’t listed in the top 10 causes of death in Virginia in 2015. According to the CDC, the top 10 causes of death in Virginia include cancer; heart disease; accidents; stroke; chronic lower respiratory disease; Alzheimer’s disease; diabetes; kidney disease; flue/pneumonia; and septicemia. In 2015, Virginia had 943 gun-related deaths, compared to 36,252 nationwide. UPDATE: 9p.m. EST After seeing Watts’ tweet, NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch provided TheBlaze with the following statement: “This is the same woman whose boss [Michael Bloomberg] believes in this tactic,” Loesch said, referring to Bloomberg’s call to disarm African American men.”Watts and her boss say this. Not the NRA. This is the same woman whose supporters mail nasty threats to innocent people’s houses simply because they believe in Constitutional rights. Her supporters have called for abusing law enforcement and ‘SWATting’ law-abiding men and women, moms and dads, endangers lives. There was never a tragedy she and her lobby didn’t try to exploit. While this group scavenged, we pray for a nation of hearts to soften.”
I have no doubt it’s choreographed. These pressure groups have their screeds all set and ready to use at times like these.

“WE THE PEOPLE” basically put the likes of the KKK and NAZI groups in the USofA underground if not out of business.
PRE BO, the KKK could have a rally in a ‘Superman Change Booth’, but BS from BO, HOLDER & LYNCH and cohorts led to a resurgence of the BLACK ________ and they started operating as BLM with full backing from the MSM, Government (by full backing meaning they REALLY had freedom of speech etc).
The orchestrated riots in Baltimore, Ferguson and other cities where the local govt not only turned their backs on it citizens (the tax paying kind) but the FED stepped in and offered protection.
IMNSHO, if Trump has done anything really wrong in his short stint, it is allowing all the BOers to remain in high positions of his Government.
And if a sitting President asks a ‘holdover’ if he/she/it are going to go along with the NEW PROGRAM rather than the old, the person can then go forward and say the ‘New Guy’ is DEMANDING a loyalty oath and the MSM runs with it.
This BO fella and his minions tweaked ‘fence sitting’ White people for 8 years and when they show they have ‘had enough’ it is the BNGs fault.
The only ‘good’ thing here is that the ‘average LIB’ doesn’t know what side to take here.

Calling for more gun control after someone uses a car for a weapon, and all the while still wondering why there aren’t more women in STEM. BRILLIANT.
What doesn’t add up is how “counter protesters” had professionally made signs at an “impromptu” event.
Did she demand more Gun Control when the Lefty Nutcase mowed down People at the Republican’s Baseball Practice, or did she demand Baseball be outlawed?
I blame the car culture and the easy access to motor vehicles. Just the name of the car “Charger” is violent.
I appreciate your deft sarcasm. Wish I could raise a laugh. Never thought I would see this depth of disorder in my country, and I lived through the 60s— although I heard from older relatives that bombing and rioting happened in the 30s.
