U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- Moms Demand Action has joined the anti-police witch-hunt. I have long written that armed citizens and police are natural allies. It is because both of them have strong incentives in enforce order and prevent crime and violence. Two years ago, I wrote: An armed people and local police are natural allies. When locally controlled police and a population who trust them work together, crime rates plummet to very low levels. Officers on the street have generally had a positive attitude toward armed citizens. I did not expect the Bloomberg funded group, Moms Demand Action, to come out strongly...

Moms Demand Action hosts event with illegal “large-capacity” magazines, “ghost gun” parts and tools, bayonet, and live ammunition At the meeting it appears that several New Jersey laws were violated. The guest speaker, Scott Pappalardo, possessed several “large-capacity” magazines, unserialized 80% AR15 lower receivers, and the parts and tools to complete the lower receivers to functioning AR-15 rifles, and possessed a large bayonet.

A vigil for the victims of the recent shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch that was organized by Team ENOUGH, a student-led initiative that is part of pro-gun control group Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, did not go as planned as students walked out to protest the group’s politicization of the tragedy. During the vigil, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America activists, Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., and Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., each made remarks the students in attendance did not appreciate because, according to them, the adults were politicizing the event. The students walked out of the...

Ohio lawmakers voted Thursday to override Governor Kasich's veto on a self-defense gun bill Now, major changes will be coming to the way prosecutors handle self-defense cases and to gun laws across the state. House Bill 228 was once a "stand your ground" bill but turned into a self-defense bill after it received some opposition at the statehouse. Over the summer, anti-gun violence group Moms Demand Action went to the statehouse to try and stop the bill from passing.

It’s a mother’s instinct to protect her children, to nurture and care for them. Why would a self-ascribed “mom” go on a crusade to take away the right of mothers and fathers to protect their children? Why would this heroic mom want to restrict the family’s ability to protect the ones they love? Why would that mother want to take away protections for school kids, emboldening evil by creating and promoting more gun-free zones? Why would anyone get behind that same “mom” who worked for Monsanto, who promoted cancer-causing herbicide in children’s breakfast cereals? Who is this mom and what...

The campaign manager for Democrat Tedra Cobb, who is running to unseat Rep. Elise Stefanik (R., N.Y.), left the campaign on Tuesday in the wake of a video where Cobb says she won't publicly state what she actually believes about banning certain guns. Mike Szustak, who has been running Cobb's campaign since April, told the Watertown Daily Times that he was no longer working on the campaign. It is not clear if he quit or if he was fired. The move comes in the aftermath of a Washington Free Beacon report on a video showing Cobb telling a group of...

Shannon Watts, founder of anti-Second Amendment organization Moms Demand Action, claimed Saturday that Dana Loesch attempted to “harass” and “intimidate” anti-gun protesters staging at a church in Dallas, where the annual National Rifle Association meeting is taking place. It took Loesch just one tweet to prove Watts was lying. What happened? It all started when Watts tweeted: Shannon Watts ✔ @shannonrwatts .@NRA lobbyist @DLoesch has shown up uninvited, with a camera crew, at a church where Texas @MomsDemand volunteers are meeting to discuss gun safety in order to harass and intimidate volunteers. No, really. #NRAAM #NRAAM18 11:54 AM - May...

At the risk of being called cold or harsh, let me begin by saying every American has a right to his/her opinion on just about any issue. Including guns. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let me add this: the people playing partisan politics on the graves of the 17 innocent dead people from Douglas High School are despicable. I don’t care what age they are. Over the last couple of weeks, a variety of conservative voices have gotten in trouble for insinuating that the anti-gun protesters coming out of Douglas High School seem far too practiced...

Michael Bloomberg-funded Moms Demand Action is urging Amazon, Apple, and YouTube to cut ties with NRATV. DirectTV, AT&T, Google, and Roku are also being pressured to make the break. According to Huff Post, Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts released a statement saying, “NRATV is home to the NRA’s most dangerous and violence-inciting propaganda. It’s time for tech leaders to acknowledge their role in helping the NRA spread this dangerous content and cut it out.” She added, “We demand that Apple, Amazon, AT&T’s DIRECTV, Google and Roku all dump NRATV once and for all.” Brad Chase is friends with the...

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is currently running a secret war on concealed carry for law-abiding citizens. The word “secret” is apropos when you understand that Moms Demand Action’s method of operation is to block pro-Second Amendment voices from their Twitter account, thereby allowing them to maintain a closed circle wherein the preacher is only talking to the choir. It is like Johannesburg for gun grabbers. Their current war is being waged via the hashtag #StopCCR, which stands for Stop Concealed Carry Reciprocity. It consists of Moms Demand members taking letters to the offices of U.S. Representatives...

Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts took to Twitter on Saturday to vilify the National Rifle Association and gun laws in Virginia as the reason behind the violent protests taking place in Charlottesville. Watt began retweeting various tweets with the same phrase: “The radicalization of America has been encouraged by the @NRA and open carry laws, which enable armed intimidation. #Charlottesville.” snip The Moms Demand Action account then sent out a series of tweets condemning members of the armed militia, saying they were there to intimidate protestors. The gun control group then went on to say open carry laws in...

Chelsea Clinton: Gun Control Opportunity on Supreme Court With Scalia Gone Chelsea Clinton said Thursday at an event in Maryland that there is now an opportunity for gun control legislation to pass the Supreme Court since Justice Antonin Scalia passed away. “It matters to me that my mom also recognizes the role the Supreme Court has when it comes to gun control. With Justice Scalia on the bench, one of the few areas where the Court actually had an inconsistent record relates to gun control,” Clinton said. “Sometimes the Court upheld local and state gun control measures as being compliant...

The presence of a gun rights group at the Texas State Capitol during President Obama’s visit to the SxSW festival elicited members of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense to call for gun violence against the group. Among other incitements to violence, “Just shoot them all,” and “Shoot the a**bags,” they said. Moms Demand Action members posted, “Do[n]’t arrest them just shoot them, these people are crazy,” “Time to use an assault weapon on this trash,” “Just shoot them all…,” and “Mow them down.” Another added, “a**hats. no one has taken your guns. you are the ones causing problems. Thursday, September 10th, the Moms Demand Action organization, held a rally in Phoenix. A little over 20 people showed up. At least three people present were Second Amendment supporters. Two of the Second Amendment supporters carried large signs that made the rally appear to be in support of the Second Amendment. Dr. Peter Steinmetz was one of the Second Amendment supporters that was present. He reports: One of the leaders initially asked us “respectfully, to please go across the street and demonstrate there”. I noted that this appeared to be a public street and that we were there to support...

On July 13, Michael Bloomberg-funded Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America launched another shame campaign like others they ran against Starbucks, Staples, and Kroger. This time, however, the target is Cabela’s, and the goal of the campaign is to pressure the Nebraska-based retailer into refusing to hand over guns to customers if an extended, three-day, FBI-run background check does not uncover a reason for the sale not to happen.

Link to video This is what astroturf looks like in action. Imagine what the Senators are thinking. It goes on for ten minutes, with the "activists" reading from the same script, over and over. It is quite humorous to watch. There is a good sum up at the end by Open Carry Texas. Dean Weingarten:Link to Gun Watch
