President Donald Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon is out at the White House, two administration officials told CNN on Friday.

The President has privately stewed over Bannon in recent days, including Thursday night from his golf course in New Jersey. He was furious with his chief strategist after he was quoted in an interview with the American Prospect contradicting him on North Korea and asserting that he was able to make personnel changes at the State Department.

He did not travel with the President during the first week of what White House officials described as a “working vacation” at Trump’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey. Instead Bannon remained in Washington to work out of a temporary office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

Bannon grew up in Richmond and is a graduate of Benedictine High School.....

Yup. Bannon is the only one in Trump’s administration focused on Trump’s agenda.

I said that from day and was laughed at. Regardless, Newt has said he would not take the assignment if offered to him.

Was this Trump’s decision, or did Bannon resign? I’ve seen it reported both ways.

Yup. Bannon is/was trying to keep Trump focused. Firing Bannon is not a good idea.

He was a Goldman Sacs banker, I am sure he is just fine.

“Business career
Investment banking
After his military service, Bannon worked at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department.[45] In 1987, Bannon relocated from New York to Los Angeles, to assist Goldman to expand their presence in the entertainment industry.[31] He stayed at this position with Goldman in Los Angeles for two years, leaving with the title of vice president.[46][b]

In 1990, Bannon and several colleagues from Goldman Sachs launched Bannon & Co., a boutique investment bank specializing in media. In one of Bannon & Co.’s transactions, the firm represented Westinghouse Electric which wanted to sell Castle Rock Entertainment.[37] Bannon negotiated a sale of Castle Rock to CNN, which was owned by Ted Turner at the time.[48] Instead of a full adviser’s fee, Bannon & Co. accepted a financial stake in five television shows, including Seinfeld, which was in its third season. Bannon still receives cash residuals each time Seinfeld is aired.”

Estimated net worth of $48mil.

We don’t know what their private conversations on this topic have been about.

Even if Bannon actually resigned two weeks ago, was it his initiative or Trump’s request? We don’t know.

I only there are two sets of winners - McMaster & the globalists with him, and the Dim’s Charlottesville agenda. Both will take it to themselves as a trophy head.

Bad timing on Trump’s part in my mind.

Of course I wouldn’t, so thank you for clarifying. It’s pathetic to read such silly comments in relation to Bannon. It seems to me that several of our more mature and deep thinkers have not weighed in.

My ire is focused on the underground efforts by Hillary and Barry with their seditious resistance bullcrap, along with our vile lying media.

Nah. This changes nothing, really, but relieves Bannon of the company of libs in the WH.

This move changes nothing but where Bannon keeps his phone and his pen.

Dunno about drunk, but he does look like he just woke up from sleep and did not have time to groom himself. He certainly does not look robust and has no spring in his step. May be he has some health problems.

It was only bad timing if A, Trump (not Bannon) planned and arranged the timing, and B, your worst predictions materialize. Trump has a knack for changing the subject. Let’s wait and see how it plays out before getting too deep in the gloom and doom.

Sorry about the liver spots etc. Badges of honor. POTUS is neither down nor out. Many underestimate the fox to their downfall. The sacrifices Donald Trump made reflect his steely resolve to MAGA.
When you are taking flak you are over the target. POTUS sows carefully calibrated chaos to smoke out and ensnare the enemies. (his enemies are America’s enemies)

v Here are just a few accomplishments since Trump’s inauguration:

1. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch installed.

2. Fifty-nine missiles fired into ISIS strongholds in Syria.

3. The United States out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

4. Illegal immigration across the U.S.-Mexico border down 70 percent (the lowest in 17 years).

5. Consumer confidence highest since 2000 at index 125.6.

6. Mortgage applications for new homes at a seven-year high.

7. Twenty-percent tariff imposed on softwood lumber from Canada.

8. Bids accepted for border wall.

9. The United States out of the lopsided Paris accord.

10. Keystone XL pipeline approved.

This is but the tip of the iceberg. Trump is indeed Making America Great Again.

You are out of your mind. The accountability is the bottom line.

If he wasn’t very good at what he did he wouldn’t have made money and gotten his jobs done under budget and ahead of schedule.

If you don’t think he is not used to juggling obstreperous people with opposing interests you have never worked in construction or real estate.
