I particularly like this quote from Mr. Boot's article:

'The message our herd-driving modernity sends out to the multitudes is arbitrary and therefore despotic: “You must obey what we say for as long as we keep saying it, regardless of how stupid it may be. Tomorrow we may say something else, and you’ll obey that too, even if it contradicts what we’re saying today.”

'Moral entropy ensues. Deprived of the absolute, society loses immutable standards of morality, replacing them with variously perverse relativities. As a result, society becomes not only post-truth and post-thought, but also post-morality.'

Wasn't that one of the main themes of the book 1984 ?

The original commandments were chiselled in stone literally, the later ones figuratively, but there was no room left for misinterpretation in either case

Really? Then why does the Catholic version of the Commandments make no mention of graven images, contrary to the Jewish version?

The Liberty Bell name was used as an abolitionist term. Did have the element of horse manure from both sides of the Atlantic used in the original casting and subsequent re-casting—PETA objects. A symbol of Royal Slavery allowed if there ever was one. In hangings, one bell for a man and two bells for a woman. That bell is not gender identity friendly.

I always get a chuckle when those who claim there is nothing that is absolutely correct become offended when challenged...

I demand “The Ten Commandments” also not be shown as it glorifies the enslavement of my people by North Africans.

(yes, sarcasm)
