New Star Trek show has modeled its Klingons on TRUMP supporters and 'racial purity is a big theme'

The show-runners of the highly anticipated new CBS Star Trek series have said their Klingons will symbolize Trump supporters in modern America.

Released on September 24th, Star Trek: Discovery will continue the show's time-honored practice of mirroring the contemporary world in a futuristic setting.

The story, set 10-years before William Shatner's Captain Kirk, will focus on the fractious early relations between the United Federation of Planets and the aggressive Klingon Empire.

However, the new update could prove controversial, with fans of the 1960s show remembering the Klingons and Federation war as an allegory for the Cold War clash of civilizations between the Soviet Union and freedom loving United States....

Klingons portraying as USSR soldiers at a time of the cold war where not watching their show.

They where not watching the show because there really was a problem between the countries.

OH, cr*p! I’ve seen every Star Trek movie in the theater. Plan on missing this one, but I’ll definitely be seeing the director’s cut of Star Trek: Wrath of Khan.

I loved Star Trek. I couldn’t bear the political correctness of Voyager. I hated the communism expressed in TNG. I finally just gave up on Star Trek. I won’t watch propaganda.

TV viewership is way down across the board. Yes, changing technology has an impact, but I think this has a lot to do with the fact that TV has become mostly liberal propaganda. Not even liberals want to watch propaganda.

Frank Gorshin's lucky he didn't live to see this.

Racial purity would be tough for him.

It's also tragic that Frank died a decade ago and Kirk Douglas is still around.

Don’t know how to mark this, but this is SO TRUE! The more these psychopaths rant about Trump, they’re just revealing their own psychoses.

I never really watched the original Star Trek when it was on. My kids have been fans for years. I did watch the movies with Shatner, Nimoy, etc., along with the most recent batch featuring the younger characters. I have never been a big fan of any programs/movies about outer space. I never watched any of the spin-offs either. So, I wasn’t planning on watching the re-boot.

What a piece of crap.
I have not noticed that ‘racial purity’ was an issue among Trump supporters.
Racial purity might be an issue in La Raza, MEChA, and BLM, but not among ‘Pubbies or Trump supporters.

"I’m going with the Orville!"

You can keep that one too. I'm not a fan of Seth MacFarlane.

So you have to subscribe to CBS’s streaming channel just to be insulted? FUCBS.

Liberals have forgotten what the word inclusive really means. They have also forgotten what equality means, that everyone has equal worth under the law regardless of whether they are black or white.

I am enjoying the remastered original series.

My better half says 1 minute into the show, "Oh, I have already seen this one."

Then we laugh.

It’s a TV series...not a movie.
