Wondering what movies can be recommended for Christmas Day.
I watched it twice. Loved it.
The Crossing
A true story about a Christmas long ago that also changed the world as it then was.
I thought I was the only one who really liked this movie. A young Sandra Bullock is great in this film, heartwarming and funny.
BISHOPS WIFE.
I wont stop pimping this unsung underrated movie until it is standard Christmas fare, as it deserves.
An actual Christmas movie, fully 100%, with humor and charm galore, along with the real point of Christmas.
If you can find it. We watched our DVR last night, from TCM on the 17th. Rarely shown, and so misunderstood its sometimes shown randomly in the summer.
Thank you! It was on Xmas Eve.
Meet Me in St. Louis deserves more attention for its great Christmas segment than cursory tie-ins like Die Hard ever do. Or White Christmas, FTM.
PLUS, we actually got a classic Xmas song out of it!
How do you find that?
I used to watch that as a kid. Seems they dont bother anymore.
Actually just saw it. Very cute.
We watch meet me in st. Louis shortly after halloween.
The Bishop’s Wife; Holiday Affair.....
One of my favorites is “Comfort And Joy” with Dixie Carter, Paul Dooley, Nancy McKeon. Lifetime used to run it every year, but hasn’t for a while. Guess I’ll have to order from Amazon.
Bumpity bump
Ernest Saves Christmas.
For Reference ... Happy Boxing Day!
Thank you for Beyond Tomorrow. We will all watch it today.
