The 2017 college football season comes to an exciting conclusion on Jan. 8, in Atlanta, Georgia, when the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship pairs the University of Alabama Crimson Tide against the University of Georgia Bulldogs. The teams officially booked their ticket to Atlanta on New Years Day, Jan. 1, 2018, as each won their Playoff Semifinal, the Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual and Allstate Sugar Bowl games, respectively.
Critics would hate to admit it, but it seems the College Football Playoff selection committee made the right choice in locking the Alabama Crimson Tide. Lol, you’ve got to love UCF! I didn’t know they were having a national title parade. I love it.
Nick Saban overbearing in victory and very sullen in defeat- my kind of guy!
Hillary won the popular vote.
Likewise, HAIL to HILLARY, HAIL TO UCF.
RTR!!!
Alabama takes the win.
Alabama takes the win.
If proven true, needs then to play UCF two weeks later to make it official.
Yeah, and this flordia wanna be would not go 6-6 in the SEC. Get a grip on real life dude.
Conference championships have been marginalized.
On a side note, UCF rocks! And now with Frost coming back home to Nebraska...can't wait for the next few years to take shape.
It’s a consolation game between two losers.
Just another reason why the playoffs should be expanded to 8 teams, not 4. By expanding the playoffs you would include more conferences and emerge with a more evident winner. Fans would be big winners. If an expanded format were in place we might have seen a Wisconsin-Alabama game, a matchup I would have enjoyed.
That said, I relish tonight’s game and have reserved the big screen TV for my exclusive use. Alabama has experience but Georgia is more explosive on offense. Should be a great game and my last of the season as I have given up on professional football.

I say all other conferences walk away from this and form a NON-SEC alliance to determine an alternative national crown. Then the SEC can sign up second-level conferences in their own little championship playoff series so that they can truly guarantee and SEC team their little championship.
Let’s organize it and split the profits.
You don’t think so. Well put their butts in the SEC and let’s see. You darn well know that they would not go 12-0 in the SEC. Nobody, not even Bama can go 12-0 in the SEC anymore. Play that stupid game all you want too, it ain’t no dog, it is the SEC. AND, Auburn was not at the strength they were against Bama and UGA. AU had a lot of injuries. I believe their best running back was not up to it. AND, you silly boy, KNOW it. Come on down. Join the SEC. Drag Fla International, that glorious powerhouse of college football with you. You two can join Vandy in the cellar of the SEC.
No children, they are not the UNDISPUTED champions. Look who took the trophy home. In six months no one will remember the Fla team and Bama will still have the trophy with #17 in the bank and UCF will be a mere footnote in the minor leagues of college football. Maybe join the MAC, or one of the other minor leagues and you might one day actually make the cotton bowl, maybe. But, I doubt it. Bye, kids, I’m done with your childish crap. Bama has the NATIONAL trophy, and you have a state trophy.
