State Of The Union-SHOULD TRUMP CALL FOR A SUPER BOWL BOYCOTT?
Posted on 01/26/2018 7:52:56 AM PST by DIRTYSECRET
It would serve them right. The NFL is really asking for it. He could just say he'll be playing golf. Go to a museum. No TV's around. It would give him an opportunity to question other sacred cows, like the need for a college degree. Reassess everything as the country becomes great again.

No, not the time or place. The NFL must be celebrating that the Patriots are in the Super Bowl. I think the ratings will be pretty good. A Pats-free Super Bowl would have been a ratings disaster.

“But he SHOULD read the memo “
Today he should start advertising that he’s going to read the memo verbatim at the SOTU. The Reps and Senators — and the MSM — don’t want to be scooped, so that might get them off their butts ASAP and release it themselves.

No. Telling the National Felons League to go fsck itself is OUR job, not his.

No. But I hope some reporter asks him if he’s going to watch and give him the opening reply as a citizen, which would almost as effective.
To: DIRTYSECRET
No. That is a terrible idea.

I guess you folks are right. Not at the SOTU address. But what about an off-hand remark while being followed by the MSM?

That would be bush league and beneath his dignity.
There are immensely bigger issues than the NFL and their Super Bowl

Here is how he should deal with them: LET THEM ask the question, like this:
PRESSTITUTE: "Mr President, who do you think will win the Superbowl"?
Trump: "Who cares?"

A big NO. It would be the major distraction for the media to focus on to the determent of the rest of his speech. And it is not the purpose of his speech to get tangled up in stupid stunts by ungrateful, spoiled rotten, Americans who disgrace themselves and dishonor America by half kneeling during the National Anthem. Shame on them, and God bless President Trump.

NO. In life we run into Bullshit and fly shit. Learn the difference. Ignore the flyshit.

Trump and Brady seemed to like each other; Trump tweeting that Brady was innocent in deflategate etc but later Brady called Trump's remarks "divisive" re: the anthem protests.
Fox Business:
>>The president repeatedly invoked his friendship with Brady while on the campaign trail in 2016. Trump reportedly received a commemorative Super Bowl ring after the Patriots championship visit to the White House last April. "I am deeply disappointed by the tone of the comments made by the president on Friday," Kraft said in a statement Sunday.
As for the Eagles, should be noted PA was the state that put Trump over the top in electoral votes, though a lot of the blue counties were in eastern PA.
Trump wins PA--"that is the race, frankly; there is no path forward for Hillary Clinton..."
To: DIRTYSECRET
No...thats not his job. Weve got this.
