Schwarzenegger to Sue Big Oil for ‘First Degree Murder’(WTH?)

AUSTIN, Texas — Arnold Schwarzenegger’s next mission: taking oil companies to court “for knowingly killing people all over the world.”

The former California governor and global environmental activist announced the move Sunday at a live recording of POLITICO’s Off Message podcast, recording here at the SXSW festival, revealing that he’s in talks with several private law firms and preparing a public push around the effort.

“This is no different from the smoking issue. The tobacco industry knew for years and years and years and decades, that smoking would kill people, would harm people and create cancer, and were hiding that fact from the people and denied it. Then eventually they were taken to court and had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars because of that,” Schwarzenegger said. “The oil companies knew from 1959 on, they did their own study that there would be global warming happening because of fossil fuels, and on top of it that it would be risky for people’s lives, that it would kill.”

And Ahnude is a Republican. He’s actually identifying with the far left fringe of the rat party here.

My sister has lived in Kalifornia most of her life and claims to be a Republican. However listening to her talk you’d swear she’s a rat. She’s anti military and believes in climate change to name a few.

I wonder if Arnie was born with this disease or acquired this mental issue as a result of living in Kalifornia all these years.

Wow, that’s going for a new depth of stupidity right there. Thought he was smarter than that.

There’s far more justification to sue Hollywood and ahnulds ass for promoting gun violence in their movies.

LOL! A lady that teaches Mosaics (which Mrs.rktman loves) claims her husband is kinda conservative where she is lib and goes to all the marches and ‘resist’ gatherings. I just kinda laughed and told Mrs.rktman the ladies husband is only conservative based on the ladies definition of conservative. Probably meaning the guy has watched a college football game or something like that. As far as the mental issue with ahnold, I’m still thinkin’ steroids.

I’ve never heard of a happy ending regarding a long term steroid user.

People born in Austria who lead other countries don’t exactly have a great track record.

Huh? I thought he would be making a sequel to the “outstanding” Terminator Genisys.

If he explains this lawsuit as well as he explained time travel in that movie we will need a Star Trek Tricorder to understand what he means.

I also believe in climate change - I just don’t think human activity has a measureable effect on it.

Exactly. And there is virtually no justification for that.

I'm not a lawyer, but there are specific elements to have an act or series of acts rise to first-degree murder. One has to show malice toward the victims, for example. What Mr. Muscles is after is characterized as manslaughter, as in depraved indifference toward human life.

But even more basic, murder/manslaughter is in the realm of criminal law, not civil law. How is Arnold representing the State in this action?

tl;dr: click-bait.
