California is headed into a salad spinner of **** (/stolen line) with the current, lawless mealy-mouthed Demwits undermining the ethnically Asian citizens, who support Prop 209 (passed 1996). The black and Latino rioters who burned down chunks of the city after the Rodney King verdict (1992) victimized Asian business owners. There's been more than one attempt to just ignore 209, and a Latino lawmaker attempted to amend it out in the Assembly, but backed down in the face of the public outcry.
Leland Yee, the Demwit who not long ago got sentenced for gun running -- and was himself a public advocate of gun control -- was also a champion of 209.

I read he was trolling the Dims when he said he’d never sign a bill like this again, plus I’ve read he has the power to redesignate the funds. Someone posted here he couldn’t, but lots of people think he can, and Obama-nation did just that many times.

I work with some. If laying about complaining about compensation is a serpent the they are. Interesting is not many contractors at any level will convert so the pay/benefits are better in private sector. But if you want to play games, be a dick and complain the civil serpents are the way to go.
I know many here think they are over paid but in engineering that isn’t the case. Most will never convert because of the $.
