Using the Hubble Space Telescope astronomers have discovered a nearby galaxy that apparently has little or no evidence of dark matter. The unique galaxy, called NGC 1052-DF2, contains at most 1/400th the amount of dark matter that astronomers had expected. The galaxy is as large as our Milky Way, but it had escaped attention because it contains only 1/200th the number of stars.

It doesn’t have as many unicorns as expected either.
Unicorns expelling aether? What>
Here are the words
Dark Matter
Dark Energy
Singularity
Words astrophysicists use when they cant explains something. Their formulas dont work so they need a fudge factor.
Galaxies would literally fly apart without dark matter. So they assume its there.
Is it at all possible dark matter is composed entirely of theoretical math and desperation to save a pet theory?
Do you mean to say... If we re-aligned the phase-emitters and routed the secondary power through the plasma conduits, we might be able to generate an inverse tachyon pulse and wrap this episode up, in 10 minutes?

includes the infamous “they are all spherical SOB’s” quote from Zwicky.
“Dark matter” was invented to explain the failings of existing theory. What happens if they can’t verify “dark matter”? Do they revise the revision to theories?
Well, sure, that's one way of doing it.

All well and good, but when empirical data doesnt support the theory arent you supposed to go back and check your assumptions?
“Dark Mattèr” appears to be the 21st Century’s Planet Vulcan.

Exactly. Make it so.

Not a pet theory, but one they cling to with every ounce of their Humanist bodies. Their faith in the dogmas of their religion is incredible.
