“I cant even make up a legal basis for a no fly zone over Iran but I will assure you that will never happen. Did you know that Iran is fully backed by Russia and the SAM missiles they have would kill hundreds of our pilots. You people amaze me.”

Dream on. Their SAM batteries are the first things that would be targeted by ship-borne cruise missiles and stealth fighters firing stand-off weapons hundreds of miles away. Relatively-speaking, Russian hardware was junk when they were spending big money on their military and it’s even junkier today, now that their expenditures are a pale shadow of Cold War numbers. It’s not some kind of accident that the Iranians weren’t able to put any birds in the air over Syria. The mullahs’ theocratic version of Marxism has cratered the Iranian economy.

You are a freaking idiot. You spew nonsense constantly and it is quite obvious you have no idea WTF you are talking about. You have no clue on what our capabilities are concerning the dreaded Russian defensive weapon systems that have you wetting your panties.

You have an agenda here at FR. Your posts make that very clear.

“Given that Syria remains in a state of war with Israel, and has attempted to obliterate the Jewish state on multiple separate occasions, in addition to harboring and sponsoring a smorgasbord of terrorist movements against Israel, anything Israel does against Syria’s government, including the assassination of its rulers, is justified.”

Assad has terrorist enemies that are his priority at this time.

“A USA Today story says an Iranian drone entered Israeli airspace in February. An Israeli F-16 retailed by attacking Syria and was shot down.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2018/02/11/syria-explained-why-u-s-iran-russia-israel-and-turkey-have-all-poked-their-noses-tiny-countrys-civil/327383002/

So because of a drone two counties are fighting.

It is ridiculous.

The Bible tells people to turn the other cheek so small insults don’t result in big, nasty problems like a war.”

They’re not fighting because of a drone. They’re fighting because Iran has repeatedly used both Hamas and Hezbollah to lob missiles at Israel. The Israelis are now drawing a line in the sand.

The Houthis of Yemen can barely feed, let alone arm themselves, but the media is saying they are behind the ballistic missiles flying into Saudi Arabia. I think a little critical thinking of the kind that the media is always saying they’re good at, would suggest that Iran is using Yemen to lob ballistic missiles into Saudi Arabia.

Iran is stockpiling missiles in Syria, hoping to replicate these attacks against Israel. Iran’s leaders are insane and cannot be deterred - only killed. Imagine if the Soviets had used North Korea or North Vietnam to fire ballistic missiles at American cities during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts.

And this is before Iran has deployable nukes. We don’t want to find out what they’ll do once that program is complete. The time to bomb is now.

I don’t think President Trump was elected to get us into war elsewhere.

We need our military on the southern border now to stem the tide entering the country.

Ann Coulter sees plenty of holes allowing cheap labor to flow in her recent column.

Let Israel deal with its own issues.

Why are Iran and Syria and Russia all being demonized and bullied in the world today?

If Israel and its supporters are responsible that means they’ve helped to undermine President Trump by floating the “Russian collusion” boat with all their propaganda demonizing the Russians.

Israel has a terrorist sponsor enemy that is its priority at this time. Assad is a puppet who is reliant on Iranian aid for his survival. It’s not so much that he will do anything they say as the Iranians are doing anything they want in Syria because they have the men and Assad can’t stop them with his shrunken force of Alawite militias.

Much of it has probably been redesigned and is now of high quality.

“Why are Iran and Syria and Russia all being demonized and bullied in the world today?”

Let’s see - Iran took our entire embassy hostage, and killed 200+ Marine peacekeepers in Lebanon. Syria sponsored any number of terrorist movements killed thousands of Americans in Iraq and was complicit in the killing of Marine peacekeepers in Lebanon. And the Russians, of course, are responsible for the deaths of 100K Americans during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, on top of their assistance to Hitler prior to WWII which gave him the opportunity to overrun Western Europe, not to mention the financing, equipping and training of terrorist operatives that killed hundreds of Americans. (Guess where Yasser Arafat was trained?) That’s on top of their recent invasions of neighboring European countries.

The Indians are switching to American hardware despite their doubts about American political reliability, much higher costs and significantly less technology transfer to India for American arms purchases. It’s not because Russian hardware has improved. I don’t understand the Russophilia, given all the grief the Russians inflicted on us in the 20th century. We’ve learned over the past year that the Russians are supplying the Taliban.

“Iran has repeatedly used both Hamas and Hezbollah to lob missiles at Israel.”

Iran funds both Hamas and Hezbollah.

[Think of them as penny stocks. Iran is making an investment for possible regional influence on the cheap.]

Hamas and Hezbollah lob missiles at Israel.

Nope, same way it did not get sucked into any of Isarel's other wars. They don't need us.

What Israel needs is the US to run diplomatic interference to keep the EU, the UN and Russia off its back while it deals with the Iranian problem.

They picked the Rafale over the F-18 but they've had nasty experiences with Russian stuff and are getting away from it.

It worked perfectly in Libya. Did the number of American dead exceed 100?

That’s 40, 50 and even 65 years ago.

One needs to forgive. It is a Christian virtue.
