We’re doing well, thanks. I often wear straw sun hats in the summer, especially for camp. Camilla’s hat is pink and fluffy.

I’m singing tonight at a Pentecost Vigil prayer meeting, with my daughter Elen on guitar. Should be fun.

Ladies wore hats indoors, so you didn’t have to worry about what your hair looked like when you took it off.

The clergy who preached is the Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church. I did not hear today’s lecture, I mean sermon, but I have heard him preach in person when he was Bishop of the Diocese of North Carolina. He is billed as an evangelical and his preaching style reflects that in enthusiasm and form, but it ends there. He is a liberal, through and through.

I doubt if most Brits enjoyed his sermon. From what I have read, even Harry looked a bit aggravated, maybe just because the Bishop went on and on. But boy, did the Libs in America love it!

I didn’t watch the wedding but saw a short clip (30 seconds) of the sermon on Fox. Maybe in Rev. Wright’s church it would be a hit, but it was so tacky that I was embarrassed — for him, for America, for the Queen — and I don’t give even the tiniest sh!t about this royal wedding. It was pathetic.

As I said, shades of the Ugly American. It is not nice and it is not right to go into someone else’s house and act in a way that is embarrassing or makes them uncomfortable. I’m sure Meghan knew what he would be like, but I doubt Harry would have agreed to the performance. Meghan is an ‘in your face’ SJW. I am thinking Harry was a bit surprised and embarrassed by the display. (And I am SURE that Harry paid every American’s airfare and accommodations, to please Meghan) I hope he has some money left at the end of the marriage.

Not a fan but the Queen and her Husband are going great for their age. Always good to see. Don’t care how royal you are.

I thought the Queen looked grouchy, too—did she even crack a smile once? She looked great, but maybe she wasn’t too pleased with all the bad press regarding Meghan’s dad.

Didn’t think about that. I saw one gal with a hat like a saucer/plate the hat kept on sliding off her head and she finally tried to walk holding her head off balance.

It makes me think of Harry Nilsson’s “lime in the coconut” song.
