The bride’s mother wore lime/chartreuse as well, so it’s possible they coordinated their colors. Very spring like colors. I didn’t watch the ceremony or any other part of it. Just viewed the photos online, and think the Queen looks quite well for being 92. Long live Queen Elizabeth II.

Maybe she should have worn a zebra skin black and white suit to better fit in?

So another member of Meghan’s family had a part in the wedding? Door man for the Queen?

Sorry, FRiend. You're asking the wrong guy. I doubt there are many people less interested in this stuff than me. :)

Just curious. You are British, yes? I haven’t watched the coverage, just DVR’d it. My husband is out of the country and we will watch it when he gets home (nice to be able to fast forward, too). Most of my Lib friends are ecstatic about the sermon from the American pastor. From the snippets I have heard, it sounds a bit like an ‘ugly American’ almost ‘in your face’type of sermon. If so, I am so sorry for the Queen that she had to be a part of it. American Leftists simply cannot stop injecting politics into EVERYTHING. It is tiresome. My question is: what do you think the Queen thought of it? My husband and I do not talk politics. I am more Conservative than he is and not talking politics is a good thing around our house.

She’s taking a lemon and making lemonade out of it.

You've got the lemon, now all you have to do is work in the lime.

No, I’m not British, sorry. I’m from New York which is not the same thing, lol.

I didn’t hear the sermon so I can’t even begin to answer your question. At this point in Elizabeth’s life, I’m sure she has heard everything. Remember the wonderful Arab aphorism: The dogs bark, the caravan moves on. I think Elizabeth and the royals will move on despite what some dopey American preacher says at Windsor. Remember that Charles Spencer, at the funeral of Diana, tore the royals a new one in an explosive speech that people predicted would bring down the family. (It was a pretty good speech!) The Queen shrugged and again, the caravan moved on. This is why I admire that lady. She moves on.

The Queen looked real crabby today. She wasn’t happy.

No, I have no idea what lime represents. Knowing the Brits, they may not even call it lime or think it is the color lime. The famous red fox hunting jackets are called “pink”!

Thankfully, Beatrice and Eugenia dialed back on their hats this time. Behind the tall man in the church choir, there appeared to be a sombrero. It’s truly rude to wear such monstrosities that block the view of everyone behind them.

I was watching an old I Love Lucy and the gang went to England for some reason. Lucy and Ethel were all excited that they were going to meet the queen, then I realized its the same freaking queen all these years later!

I loved Camilla’s hat. I hope someday to go dotty and have the nerve to appear in hats like that.

One more thing, remember back in the day when women wore hats all the time? I think I still have a hat my mom used to wear.

I didn't see Camilla's hat but am going around wearing a bandana today. First time and already caused minor dissension in the familia. It is very comfortable and I do need to wear some kind of head covering temporarily. Will be looking for one with a MAGA embellishment. Hope all is well with you.
