Mine:
- Long overdue.
I’m a lot more positive about responsible MJ use than I am about gay marriage.
Expensive habit.
Professional? As in the creepy dude down on the corner selling to school kids?
Utah will probably legalize medical marijuana in Nov. =>
“More than 3 in 4 Utahns support medical marijuana, new poll shows”
Call it un-illegalization.
There’s no stigma attached to the whiskey/beer/wine industry.
Should be treated like alcohol is,but until the federal government changes the law, people who fall under federal regulations like DOT will still have to submit to drug testing and if MJ is legal in the state but not legal federally you will lose your job if tested comes back positive. Should be made legal nationally and then let the towns vote whether they want to allow sales just like alcohol.
I think it should be legalized on the federal level. Millions of casual users should not lose their 2A rights. You can be using mood altering prescription drugs or be a complete drunk and still legally buy a gun, but it’s a felony for pot users to own one?
I was at the wedding of a recently discharged Marine infantryman.
The hot topic was taking a job in the Colorado marijuana business. The pay was $250 per day ten hours, they all knew some that had been there working security.
Last I heard it is a cash-only business, the credit card companies do not currently support the MJ industry.
The pay did not sound all that enticing, and near zero benefits.
Government mandated prohibition does not work. It failed with alcohol, and it has utterly failed with marijuana.
Secondly, it was never the Framers' intent to give the federal government jurisdiction over the very bodies of the people. That's not liberty.
I think it's time for the federal government to let go, and give jurisdiction over this plant back to the states and the people.
Legalize it.
Allow people to have it, use it & if they so chose, grow their own.
