Appreciate the post but I’ve never gone for the “dems were Klansmen” (which they were) as a resonant argument for conservatives...it was too long ago. Different times. Rush brings it up from time to time.

They went from ‘blacks can do no right’ to ‘blacks can do no wrong’. Both position damaged the black community.
