Tommy Robinson has been a thorn in the side of pro-immigration British politicians for years. He refuses to be silenced, even though ordered by a court to shut up and stop video taping outside a court where a rape - child grooming trial was going on.
His imprisonment has set off massive protests in England, where many people thought they had the right to free speech.
While I know nothing of the video taker of this video, it gives excellent views of the protest.
This sort of coverage shows the power of the Internet and social media. It will continue to grow in importance, unless Google and other corporate giants use their power to censor it. The old media have lost control of the narrative. Control that they had for 60 years or more.

I did not watch the entire 22 minutes of the video.
The most important line in the story:

Some in the msm have called this the “post truth” age.
I call it the “post controlled truth” age. They’ve lost control and the whole thing is ripping at the seams.

All kinds of conservative speakers have been banned from Britain and they think there is free speech in England? With all of the laws forbidding speaking negatively about minorities they think there is free speech in England?

Notice the Don’t Tread On Me flag at 10:15. I would think the makeup of this crowd has the powers that be concerned. Most of these people look like fairly typical working class and middle class white men, most in their 30s and some older. IOW - not your typical motley crew of freaks that go to protests.
I’ve debated this with Europeans before. They are under the delusion that “it’s different” when only “hate speech” is banned. They don’t seem to understand that when the state can define “hate speech” as whatever they want, there are no more guarantees on any kind of free speech at all.
I think part of the short circuit in their brain is that Europeans have an ingrained prejudice against admitting that Americans might actually be right about anything. Sure, they like the idea of free speech, but they have to find a better way of implementing it than we did, because we have to be backwards about it somehow.
The US doesn’t have free speech anymore either.
The First Amendment was supposed to protect political speech and the free exercise of religion.
The Congress and courts have turned that on its head. First the Courts uses the 1st to protect pornography and then Congress decided to.attack political speech to ensure their own reelection
Free speech will always be under attack by those in power and those that think they have all the answers to how things ought to be.
We need to jealously protect our rights or we won’t have them and we have been doing a crappy job.
