A Texas mother had to jump into action after a carjacker attempted to steal her SUV while her kids were still inside.
NBC DFW reported the woman had walked inside a Shell gas station Wednesday night when she saw a man enter the vehicle and try to drive away while her two children were still inside.

Well if she did, then she deserved to be carjacked and her children kidnapped, right Skippy?
A larger caliber weapon might be worth considering. Still, I'm glad things worked out ok for her and the kids in this instance.
She shot him in the head but he has nonlife threatening injuries.

Sounds like it. I have pondered doing just that a couple times with my 13 year old in the car....now I won’t.
I’m surprised she didn’t shoot him in the back of the head. She was in the back seat, she had warned him twice, and the whole family was being kidnapped in the carjacking. Who knows what he would have done to them if he’d gotten to a more secluded area?
Shot in the head without any life threatening injuries, must have been a real numbskull with no brains.
The head was empty and the bullet just bounced around in there.
