My Sister once flew from Dulles to London. Of course she flew coach. An old man sat beside her. He was John Kenneth Galbraithe.
He held and played with her 6 month old baby for much of the trip.
What a great story! Cool too as most people like him (bookish intellectuals) are not so great at being ‘bothered’ in the public sphere—especially by small children. Very sweet.
