Malcolm Jenkins calls Jerry Jones a 'bully' for Cowboys' anthem policy
ESPN ^ | July 27, 2018 | Tim McManus

PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins issued a strong response to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on Friday, referring to him as a "bully" for requiring his players to stand for the national anthem, while urging owners around the league -- including Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie -- to speak up in support of the players on this issue.

"Jeffrey has been very supportive of us from the beginning. I don't see Jeffrey as a bully like Jerry Jones is. Lucky for me, I don't play for the Cowboys. Nor would I want to. I think it's unfortunate that you have owners like him that use his position to intimidate and intentionally thwart even the idea of his players thinking individually or having a voice about issues that affect their communities daily, which is unfortunate. But for them, hopefully you'll have guys challenge that, and they'll have my full support."

Bullying? Seriously?

Your coaches berate you, bust your butt and drive you until you can’t stand up every day in practice for hours and hours and the owner is a BULLY for asking you to stand still and be quiet for 90 seconds?

Some peoples definitions. Sheesh.

I have to follow the rules my employer has established to maintain my employment.

And I don’t have a million dollar contract to do so.

I guess being small, female, and white means that I’ll never get a chance to make millions playing for the NFL where I can, apparently, shrug off m employer’s rules of appropriate behavior and still get paid way too much.

Oh, and I had to get an advanced college degree for my job.

Most of these morons believe individually that they are bigger than the game. It started with the 'showboating' after a tackle (even when down 20 points) and the 'hotdogging' in the endzone (even when down 30 points).

Of course, none of them see that the game has become repetitious and tedious, what with all the same ole plays by each team and the constant challenges.

Hell, they would be losing fans even if everybody respected the flag. They should be lucky to have a freakin' team to play on.

That’s because the second string qb is no where near Dak’s abilities.

Jerry Jones owns the team ... the players are his employees ... and what he has stipulated is not specifically excluded from the CBA the player contracts are based upon.

End anaysis ... he can do EXACTLY what he wants and the players either comply or face fines. It is just THAT simple.

They just don't get that. And neither do the sports commentators. They think it is a 1st Amendment thing. It is not. They are working, wearing the uniform of their employer. Therefore they are representing the organization, like it or not. I can not represent myself as an employee of my company at a protest without getting fired. Off duty, I can do whatever I want. And so can the players. But they want to use the platform provided by the NFL to express their personal political views. Nothing but stupid, arrogant, A-holes. I hope Jerry trades for him even if he sits out a season or two. “F” em all.

These guys are game day protesters - they know they are nobody without the NFL uniform on - that’s why they hide for the rest of the week.

The Team made these guys, NOT the guys made the team. If they were so good and serious they would be doing their protesting the whole week long.

They seem to prove they are nothings without the uniform.

All these guys are doing is digging that hole even deeper for themselves and it will show up in ratings and the fan turnout at the games. If the trend holds the teams are going to have to start offering less money and when that comes you will see wailing like you ain’t ever seen.

Dak could kneel naked during the National Anthum(sp) and Jones would not pull him out of the game.

And Malcom Jenkins could sexually assault Lurie's wife on the 50 yard line and Lurie would would applaud (like the Cuckolded ole fool he is)as it would be seen as "racist' to interfere with the BLM troll.

(See , everybody can play the "slander "game.)

Malcolm Jenkins is very lucky he has a paycheck he can sign ON THE BACK.

He NEVER will be signing one on the front.

They have all the ingredients for a player strike.

Death to the NFL, long live football.

Did you realize what you just wrote?
