I saw them perform in ABQ back in 2002(?) I think. They opened with this song.

If Tom Sawyer had grown up during the ‘60s and ‘70s, I think he would have liked The Grateful Dead.

Live version of the song from 2011 (Time Machine Tour).

The visuals from the initial youtube is from some recording studio in Canada where they did a few albums. It was vacant and vandalized - Neil Peart did a story on it years ago, visiting it on cross-country skis iirc. I think it burned down recently.

Nothing lasts forever. Well - except the music lives on!

"ABQ"

Are you like the people in Massachusetts who say and write 'Mass' because they cannot spell Massachusetts?

Re: ABQ = Albuquerque.

Inquiring minds want to know.

“A modern day warrior, today’s Tom Sawyer! Floatin’ down the river on a raft with a black guy!”

“That’s Huckleberry Finn, you idiot!”

Here’s the long blog that Neil wrote about his visit (2014) to “Le Studio”. He drove! He does mention “commuting” to work from the house on the other side of the lake to the studio each day on cross-country skies - that must be what I remembered.

The place burned down in 2017.

For those FReepers who don’t know, the band members have long been outspoken libertarians/Objectivists.

I saw them in Asheville, NC, in February, 1979. One of only two big-name rock concerts I ever saw. Didn't get as lucky as you with any females, though.
