“””Designed to take 9 passengers up to 650 miles at a cruise speed of 240 knots.”” And it likes short runways! “
I saw that. What about time to charge batteries?
I’d like to see it find a niche.

Don’t know. Maybe their site might indicate.

You'll need a very very long extension cord...😀
Seriously, I think it is a great idea...

That's what I said. It seems some media sites have referred to it as a jet. However, I you look at the company's website, word jet is *not* used. And I'm pretty confident the company is not going to name it's product something it's not.☺

It’s multiple articles and the company isn’t getting it corrected. The only way that happens is if the company is telling them to call it a jet.

Wow, you're really hung up on a name, a name the company itself doesn't use. I keep getting a feeling there is possibly another motive driving your complaints.☺

My motive is you’re defending a company that is most likely a scam.
They have no experience making a certified aircraft, they are doing PR years before it will fly (if ever), and they are allowing the media to call it something it isn’t.

That's not what's motivating your complaints, based on the fact you have no idea if it's a scam or if it'll be very successful. I have no idea what your real motive here is, but I'm really confident it's not a name for a product the company doesn't even use...lol

I was at Oshkosh, If you would like a perspective from someone who had the blessing of discussing and or asking questions to 2 of the movers and shakers in the whole E-Flight arena private message me.
However rap your head around these two things...
E-VTOL MOD. That means Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing Mobility on Demand. 100 players in this start up area. Think about that 100, even if a ton fail, their are people and forces that see the future in this arena.
Also FAR 23 part 1 the new FAR... This is huge...
This E-Flight thing is real and I do not discount anything the Israeli's do. I looked, I did not find them @ OSH....

Notice the Rotation of the Tip Propellers, the exact opposite of the rotation of the wing tip vortices, a la the “Flying Flap Jack” to probably dissipate and or capture the vortices. Brilliant...

That’s the sign of an experienced scam artist. They let somebody else do the dirty work.
An honest company would have had the articles corrected. There certainly wouldn’t be multiple instances of the same mistake unless the company endorsed it.

Quiet, Smooth, Torque, no degradation of performance with altitude as you have with turbines and no turbo'd piston engines. Your "Fuel Load" is now constant, so is your Useful Load, that is a different paradigm for pilots and operators. However, if new batteries come along ( Solid State ) and if this is under FAR 23 part 1, they can swap out the old technology for the new if the voltage and amperage to the motors are the same. Now if you get a 2x or 3x battery upgrade you flight time range goes up without more FAA certs as the batteries have a TSO ( and the motors ) under the new FAR and the swaps are permissible.
This is a huge deal. same weight increase in range, that is a new paradigm for pilots.
