Former “Celebrity Apprentice” star Penn Jillette had the perfect opportunity to smear President Donald Trump in a recent Vulture interview titled, “In Conversation: Penn Jillette Talking magic, truth, and Trump’s alleged Apprentice Tapes.”
As the name implies, the interview was, by and large, a probe for damaging information about Donald Trump, namely Omarosa Manigault-Newman’s claim that there is a tape of him using the N-word on “Celebrity Apprentice.”
As Glenn noted on Wednesday’s episode of “The Glenn Beck Radio Program,” Jillette is no fan of Trump. And yet, after saying he was “in the room” and had overheard Trump saying “damaging things,” Jillette refused to elaborate on exactly what he’d heard. He called himself “an unreliable narrator,” adding, “I guarantee you that I will get details wrong.”

If Donald Trump had not become president, I would tell you all the stories. But the stakes are now high and I am an unreliable narrator. What I do, as much as anything, is I’m a storyteller. And storytellers are liars. So I can emotionally tell you things that happened racially, sexually, and that showed stupidity and lack of compassion when I was in the room with Donald Trump and I guarantee you that I will get details wrong. I would not feel comfortable talking about what I felt I saw in that room.
“I will tell you things, but I will very conscientiously not give you quotations because I believe that would be morally wrong,” he added. “I’m not trying to protect myself. This really is a moral thing.
“I think this is heroic,” Glenn said. “Here’s a guy — when the rest of the world is taking things out of context or ignoring (ah, Chris Cuomo,) ignoring things about people who should not be ignored (Antifa,) but because they are the enemy of your enemy, you make them your friend — here’s a guy who says ‘I don’t want any part of this.’ Yes, I saw things, but I interpret things emotionally and I can tell you what I felt but I can’t tell you what he said because I don’t know if I’ll remember it right.'”

Remember if Beck had his way, Hillary Clinton would be President today.
Beck says he would vote for President Trump now but he is about two years too late. The election was in November 2016.

I don’t care what Trump might have said years ago. I care what he does in office, and so far I like what he’s done. Sorry, liberals - you gave up all authority to question any president’s character when you decided to defend Bill Clinton.
If he was noble, he would kept quiet. By insinuating, yet not detailing, it is all left to the imagination. What good does that do? Probably more harm than good.
