I was referring to Ryan’ character in the series. They said he had served in Afghanistan for 6 years. In the books he had been a marine but I don’t think he had combat experience.

Got it. He gets more assertive later in the series.

So so. His character for a guy with extensive combat experience comes across as an amateur.

The drone pilot stuff is the worst subplot. It really adds nothing to show. I mean nothing.

What was the whole sex thing and the belt lashing, made no sense.
