Democratic activists, however, have piled into races where incumbents have not faced serious competition in a decade, if ever. Rep. Richard E. Neal (D-Mass.) and Rep. Stephen F. Lynch (D-Mass.) are being challenged, respectively, by Muslim civil rights attorney Tahirah Amatul-Wadud and video game designer Brianna Wu.
Clarification: An earlier version of this story said that Brianna Wu is transgender. She identifies as a woman.

The whole thing is a hilarious new example of the left biting the left.
There would be a lot more left fighting left if we would ask them to comment on other leftists.
When fools rule.
Oh those Democrats! “Piling in” for “serious competition!” Fireworks going off! Cats and dogs living together, hiding from the unstoppable blue wave!
Too funny if you are using the phrase “identifies as” it means you’re in reality just the opposite.
I love how transgenders delegitimize feminists.
Hope it gets elected.
Was Brianna Wu the moron who started up GamerGate and thereby fired up the weaponized autists, in time for Q to use them?
Here, try it like this:
s/h/its
“She identifies as a woman.” Is it ok to “identify” as a transgender pedophile that moonlights as a murderer? Is that not a valid “identification,” and if not, why?
Weigel was hired by the Post as a smear/hitman writer according to people who knew him or about him.
The Wash. Post has a stable of such writers that included E. J. Dionne and Dana Milbank (the worst of them all but one who was laughed at as much as admired).
Lots of Post writers have spouses who show up in many Left-wing organizations, whose findings the Post sometimes publishes as articles or OpEd pieces.
Ideological/political incest is very strong with these people.
This is the most depressing article I have ever read.
These new Democrats, who are running for an office in a political system that creates a consensus and then takes action, are running to destroy that consensus mechanism. If they succeed, they will have created anarchy. The current consensus system pleases no one, which is the point. The current system mediates the sometimes insane desires of each side so that the people thus governed do not live under an intolerable tyranny. If one side or the other gets all of what they want, it means that the other side got nothing and must suffer for it. How long will we have a stable society if half of those served feel cheated?
Lynch is my congressman, and he’s probably the most conservative Dem you’re going to run into in Mass. I’d argue he’s to the right of some state RINOs , including the Governor.
His chances of losing to anybody (including wackjob Wu) is effectively zero.
The new, even more extreme lefties, want to destroy capitalism and make everyone live in communes and perform maoist like daily devotion to the state and perverse sex rites by night.
The mediots for the most part aren't wealthy enough to make it in the new oligarch class that is to rule over the new-maoists. They will lose everything, just like the rest of the middle-class. Hunted down and exterminated, or "re-educated" .
Some of them might begin to see the fruits of their own writing on the wall.
The liberals are running the asylum...and the Democrats are insane...
I would like to see someone challenge Rosa Delauro for seat.
