Breaking it up will not end the liberal bias.

They pulled a bait-and-switch.

They allowed free speech which enabled them to become de facto monopolies, then as a critical election approached they pulled the rug out from under half the population.

Had they censored conservatives from the beginning there would be alternative conservative platforms.

Antitrust, baby. Force them to accept all comers just like RRs and public accommodations. Or treat them like a public utility.

If you really want to hurt these bastards you eliminate the H1-B program and impose double taxation on any foreign national that they manage to bring over once their precious H1-B racket is shut down.

Put Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh and Prager University in strict charge of what political information is promoted and which is suppressed for a period of 20 years or so.

Also fire Leftist professors and replace them with hard-right radical professors for 60 years or so.

Only then try to make it a balanced playing field. Before then, the Left will not have learned what it is to be on the receiving end of this BS.

One problem is that Google’s search is better than the other when not politically filtered. The tracking is evil though.

FaceBook should just be shutdown 3 months before every election.

why can’t we replicate some stupid servers and code?

Remember when they tried to put ObamaCare on the web?

For better or worse they own the intellectual property. Worst case, they have a 20 year legal monopoly from date of filing. Best case, they can lose these rights. Bayer lost the rights to the trade name aspirin.

Any substantive misrepresentation in the patent filing could also void the patent.

I believe that Valerie Jarrett’s daughter was part and parcel to that company wherein it received $500,000,000 to develop and operate said system.

Google alone employs 90,000 people. That’s a lot bigger than most governments.

I agree.

I also think they created the fake Russia story that they tried to influence our election.

This desperately needs to happen, and the executive management at these companies needs to start facing criminal charges for gross misrepresentation and fraud against investors in addition to the antitrust and election-manipulation charges against the companies themselves.

Why don’t Conservative businessmen build their own platforms?

It makes me wince that someone as pathetically weak as Jeff Sessions has to “protect” Conservatives from Democrat entrepreneurs.

These are publicly traded companies. Just go out and buy the stock and change the management.

Not only should they do it but they need to arrest these leftists for election influencing.

Still think this is better suited for the SEC than the DOJ.

Clinton DOJ investigated Microsoft INCESSANTLY!!

Ironically, the Clintons' harassed Microsoft specifically to get the company to make financial contributions to the leftist causes. In other words, to make Microsoft more political than it had been, and in a manner that would be acceptable to the Democrat party.

I’m not sure that breaking them up into a plethora of smaller (leftist) companies will help with the censorship.

I would like to see them OPEN UP to all points of view, to stop the algorithms that censor. Can we force them to do this? They have such a large influence of power; it would be much nicer to have our ideas shared in that space rather than a) fighting the zillion smaller “googles” or b) beginning “conservative google” spaces that would be so small (and inconsequential) at first.

I would not know how to force them to open up, but I would prefer this method, and then maybe conservative ideas will flow into those areas under Google’s presence. (I can dream.)
