A twofer should give putin and xi a few sleepless nights.
Can’t the Navy come up with some original carrier names?
Wow.
Ford is making aircraft carriers.
Probably have Ecoboost engines.
Which Kennedy? Jack or Splash.
Yeesh.
They still haven’t got the bugs outa the Ford.
Always cheaper by the dozen.
>>>>>. The one after that can be named after Trump <<<<
The 1st SpaceCraft Carroer should be named after him.
I’m liking the USS Donald J. Trump.
I that a nice ring to it.
Enterprise is an excellent name and should be carried on in the next generation.
I don’t think our 15 million invaders and the next 15 million invaders will be stopped by an aircraft carrier.
BUILD THE WALL & stop the invasion.
No pun intended?
Meanwhile, we’re being colonized and conquered from within by tens of millions of invaders from south of the border.
May as well name these carriers after Jim Acosta and Jorge Ramos.
As long as we’re at it, it would seem to make sense to pick up a dozen or so hunter-killer subs for whatever use could be found for them...
Which Kennedy? Jack or Splash.
= = =
Or Marilyn?
The one after that can be named after Trump.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Only if he stops the invasion.
If he doesn’t there won’t be any need for them.
They sound like they are overrevving, overloaded, overtaxed, and ready to go BOOM any second?
Maybe the USS The Wall?
Keep Enterprise. We've had a carrier with that name dating from 1936-1947 and then with CVN 65 from '61-'17.
She would be the 9th ship named Enterprise.
The Navy likes tradition, usually. Look for a Lexington, Saratoga, Essex and Constellation. I don’t think Dubya is getting an aircraft carrier and Jimmy Carter already has a submarine. Maybe they can find a garbage scow or oiler to name after Mr. Obama.
Not to hijack the thread, but Mrs abb & I toured the National Naval Air Museum in Pensacola yesterday, and they have several artifacts from CV-6 Enterprise. Will make chill bumps rise on your arms...
