The first thing you see at a Trump campaign rally is the line.
There was a long line in the pouring rain ahead of the October 26 rally in Charlotte, North Carolina. Some devotees had started lining up the night before. Others came straight from work on Friday afternoon and waited to be screened by the Secret Service. It had the look and feel of a political concert — a celebration — but with an angry edge.
Friday was my first time attending a Trump rally. I was two years too late. I should have gone to a rally in 2016. I’m a media reporter, after all, and Trump is putting on a show at these campaign events, complete with a booming soundtrack and a grand finale that regular rallygoers know by heart.
That’s one of the things I noticed inside the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte: Many of Trump’s supporters knew the lyrics to his “songs,” meaning, his favorite stories. And sometimes they sang along — by chanting “CNN SUCKS” and mouthing the words to his complaints about “chain migration.”
So here’s what I observed. First of all, walking into the arena, a projection screen tells you to sign up for “real news” by following Trump on Twitter and Facebook.
But my impression is that most of the people at Friday’s rally were already signed up. Numerous attendees told me this wasn’t their first time at a Trump rally. Some of them said they appreciated that I was there.

SHIELDING HILLARY CLINTON from reporters’ questions has become something of a specialty for the former secretary of state’s political operation. Her announcement in April that she was running for the Democratic presidential nomination was followed by weeks in which she refused to answer substantive inquiries from the press. Journalists protested — at one point, The New York Times pointedly published “questions we would have asked Mrs. Clinton had we had the opportunity” — but to little avail...

Her campaign staff actually corralled reporters, roping them off like farm animals to keep them far from the former first lady. If you are in the press pen, you are not inside a Trump rally.
Only in the liberal fantasy world does "truth" become "anger". They fear the truth, and cannot stop it any more. That's why they hate the tweets. It is their own hate that they misread as anger by those who no longer believe them.
Other than racing, could never sit for anything but Magnum PI and Miami Vice. Now with DVR/DVD, I sit for nothing other than Netflix DVDs. Wife owns the damn thing.

That’s the first lie I noticed.
Chants such as “CNN sucks”, “Lock her up”, “Build that wall” and “USA” are not started by Trump. The crowd starts them spontaneously or at the mere mention of “the dishonest media” or “a certain candidate”.
Trump doesn’t even participate or encourage the “CNN sucks” or “Lock her up” chants. Instead, he interrupts them and continues his speech, which is usually about his positive agenda of creating jobs, making America prosperous, safe, strong, and yes great again.
He does chant along with or encourage the positive chants of Build that wall, or USA.
Reporter’s mind was made up before he arrived. He’s the one who needs changing.
